Scorpius sighed as he trudged up the stairs to his dormitory. The nerves in his stomach were really getting to him.

He opened the door to his dorm to find only albus there, sitting upon his bed reading.

Albus looked up at his best friend.
"Oh hey scorp"

Scorpius smiled nervously at him.

Albus furrowed his eyebrows and frowned. "What's wrong scorp?"

Scorpius looked up at him slowly. This is it. This is it. This is it. Do it scorpius. Do it.

Scorpius' eyes lingered on albus' for a moment before trailing down to his lips. He took his chance and slowly leaned in. Soon his lips hit albus' soft ones. He pulled back to find a confused look on his face.

Shit, scorpius thought.

There was a deadly silence in the air around them, when a smile suddenly spread across albus' face. Albus then leant in and kissed scorpius. They slowly pulled away to catch their breath. They sat smiling at eachother.

"So anyway I was gonna ask if you wanted to go to hogsmeade with me" Scorpius brought up.

"On a date-" he added before albus could answer.

"I'd like that scorp"

The two then went to bed before the rest of their dormates came back.
