The blonde haired girl looked up at the boy infront of her. He was looking at her with a sort understanding look in his eyes aswell as a hint of annoyance.

"I don't think you know what you're saying"

She looked at him with confusion.

"Yes I do, I- I'm all over the place, I need to stay away from everyone, all I'm doing is causing you all pain and worry"

"Thats just the thing. You think thats the best thing to do but its not."

"yes it is"

"No. It isn't. Trust me I understand how you're feeling, but you need to be with people who care about you. Honestly, breaking up with me and staying away from my family Is probably the worst thing you could do. We all need you."

It was then that James engulfed the girl into a bone crushing hug, clinging on to her for his life, scared she could slip through his arms and he would never see her again.

"Forever and always, athena, forever and always"

"Forever and always" she managed to croak out between sobs.

The pair stayed clinging onto eachother like that for hours, feeling safe within one another's company.
