The Girls.
The Professor escorted Chloe down a few narrow hallways to a set of double doors. His hand was placed on her lower back and he seemed so calm and chill as though this was so normal. Was this normal? No, I'd like to think I'd know if this was normal. And yet . . .
Chloe glanced down at her hands. They weren't cuffed or tied in any way. Maybe this is normal. She glanced up at the Professor. He seemed normal. He noticed her stare and smiled at her before giving her a wink and grabbing her butt. Unprepared for his touch, she flinched a little and gasped. Well, he certainly seems like he's familiar with me. A man wouldn't do that to a random stranger would he? But I don't remember him. He's attractive. Is he my man? I'd like to think I'd remember him.
He stopped them abruptly in front of the double doors. The doors. They weren't scary looking. They were not bolted in anyway. Yet something told her she wouldn't find anything welcoming on the other side.
Grabbing her shoulders firmly but gently, he turned her to face him.
"You are to eat lunch with the girls. When you are done, I want you to go to your room and allow Bergita to help clean you up. You will then be escorted back to me. Do you understand?" His voice was low and serious. He spoke quickly almost whispering. She didn't know what to say or how to react. He didn't look mad or angry, but his words were demanding.
His hand ran up her back to the back of her head. Both of his hands held her head as his fingers knotted in her hair brining her face a mere inches away from his own. Aware of her morning breath, she bit her lips trying to keep her mouth as closed as possible.
"I don't want any trouble from you, do you understand? No fits. No tantrums. I do not want you dragged to me. Are we clear?" He whispered, his breath was warm on her cheeks and smelled of mint.
A horrible memory flashed in her mind. She was being dragged down a dark hallway filled with screams and what looked like intense cell doors. That really happened? She'd thought she'd just had a bad dream. He could sense her heartbeat speeding up as she looked at him wide eyed and nodded her head quickly.
He brought her head close and inhaled the scent of her hair. "Quit biting your lips." his voice was chilly. "I'm very much aware you just woke up and haven't brushed your teeth yet. Quit biting your lips."
Reluctantly she took a deep breath and released her lips. Her lips now ached slightly and felt slightly swollen. He lifted her head and kissed her lips. It was a gentle kiss, to her surprise. He kissed her once, twice, and then a third. She did not kiss back or respond. She refused to part her lips when he took it upon himself to lick her bottom lip.
Stepping back from her, he brushed her lower lip with his thumb.
"I should've known you'd be so soft, so sweet." His smile was small but it touched his eyes. Without another word he turned on his heels and left back down the corridor. She watched after him a moment. What if he is my boyfriend and I don't remember him? That'd make me like the worst girlfriend ever! Ugh!
Letting out a groan she shook her head. She wished so badly to be able to shut it off. Her brain was working over time trying to figure this all out, trying to remember. Taking a deep breath she closed her eyes and pushed open the double doors and stepped into the room.
She wasn't met by screams. Quite chatter could be heard. The smells of bacon and eggs filled her nostrils. Opening her eyes she saw a cafeteria. A cafeteria filled with women. Almost all of them were staring at her. She gulped suddenly very, very nervous. Her palms became very sweaty and she suddenly became very aware of the fact that she was wearing nothing but a giant white t-shirt that didn't even reach her knees.
