The picture is of the Guardians, there is the wolves, then the witches, then the faeries, then the incubus and succubus, and then the elementals.

Ellie awoke from her sleep to find the night had arrived. Why would she be dreaming of those nights? It is 2014 after all that was a little while back. She hopped out of bed needing to get out of it so as not to remind herself of the past she had had with Daryl. She had loved Daryl for a very long time, she would do his every bidding because of how much she thought she loved him but she found out decades later that the only reason she felt that way was because he was her siar. She thanked God, if she could, that Alexis and Lander had come to rescue her from Daryl and she had been forever greatful to the since then. They practically became her parents after that. She had felt close to them and they her, one day they offered to give her their last name and she happily accepted, so she became Elizabeth Winters legally. She didn't want to remember her old life.

She headed to the shower and washed up for the night. Tonight was her meeting with the Guardians which consisted of 5 Species including her mother and father so all-in-all there were ten people. They all shared their wizdom of their species and protected each other with their magic. Not every creature has magic only the lucky ones. None were vampires guardians so far, 'which seems a little racey if you ask me but I digress. There are wolves who spoke for all weres, an incubus and sucubus, fearies one light one dark which just so happened to be mates, I have no clue how that works but it did somehow, then there are witches, and then there are two elementals, who spoke for nature and all its inhabitants.'. Ellie had only seen them all once before, the day she joined them. It all seemed long ago. She shook her head and decided on wearing black pants, a plain white shirt, her orange leather jacket, and a Radom pair of shoes.  She fixed her dark mess of hair the best she could by straightening it, then she headed out.

Ellie lived in an apartment building with lots of other creatures that had nowhere to go and were trying to make it on their own. She wasn't the only vampire her thankfully. She ran into Lacey her were-lion companion. Lacy had golden blonde hair and tanned skin with brown eyes. She was gorgeous basically. "Hey girl, how's it going?"

Ellie shrugged, "Good I guess, I have a meeting with the Guardians."

"Ohh the All Knowing and All Powerful Beings huh. Sounds excitingly boring."

"Very much so I mean I don't usually get my cases from them, I get them from mom and dad you know."

She nodded, "Well this must be an important one then."

"Ya I guess so," as they headed down the last set of stairs Ellie waved to Lacey, "see you later Lace."

"See ya."

Ellie walked outside into the city night, the nights had always been so full of life and it made it so easy for predictors to attack. Ellie walked about six blocks to the CG inc. which for our people stood for Creature Guardians but the humans think it stands for Chic Grabs inc. which is a fashion business. As I head into the building I ignore the scenery that I have seen over and over again from always visiting Alexis and Lander for cases. I entered the elevator alone thankfully and pressed the B button for the Bottom floor. The elevator was smooth and she didn't even feel like she was moving which she appreciated. The doors opened and people were waiting to use the elevator, Ellie manovored around everyone and headed to the big court like room where The Guardians convened. She didn't even knock on the big brown doors she just pulled the open and walked in.

Everyone's attention turned toward her, her mom and dad smiled down at her. The room had a bunch of seats in an oval and ten were occupied there was a seat down on the white floor below and they gestured her to it. She did. Her mom spoke, "Hello Elizabeth, how are you doing today?"

Elizabeth frowned a bit at the odd conversation starter, she shrugged, "Fine and you?"

"I am excellent."

Her dad spoke he was sitting to her right, "We do have a job for you except this is one of great importance."

"How so?"

One of the witches spoke she had bright wavey black hair paired up with bright green eyes, "This young man is around your human age he goes by the name of Brenton Harris. We have a picture and a location for you, he needs your protection along with Lacey's we will be sending the two of you to protect this young man."

"Why is Lacey not here then?"

"We are trusting you to talk with her."

"Well I don't understand why I needed to come her for this I could have been told by Alexis and Lander."

The other witch spoke this man had short brown hair and brown eyes Ellie knew they were married, "We needed to talk to you because he is a highly important man he is to become a very powerful man in the future not just in the human world. We have forseen his future and it also appears that you Elizabeth are in his."

What, that doesn't make sense why would I be unless he's a friend or...

"Yes Elizabeth we believe he is to be your mate."

Well that was a bomb dropper. Ellie didn't even know what to say her birthday is in a week so would she be leaving before or after or on the day of? "When is this happening?"

A beautiful flawless, blonde haired faerie spoke this time, "You and young Lacey will be leaving the day after your birthday since this may be your mate we do want to be sure."

"Do you see why we choose you for this job," dad asked.

Ellie nodded and stood up, "Well if that's all then am I free to leave." She wanted to get the hell out of this place.

"Yes of course sweetie, we will talk with you later," her mother told her.

After that being said Ellie walked out of the room then quickly headed out of the building. Her mate, she was going to meet her mate on this job, wow that's a lot to take in, she wasn't sure how to process all the information. She shook her head, she would treat this like it were any other case she would protect him to the best of her ability, and life she said quietly to herself. Hell she knew that if he were her mate she would sacrifice herself to save him. She knew she needed to get a hold of herself especially when she was with him she couldn't be getting all girly over him or mess things up because of the fact that he is a very important man in both worlds. She took deep breaths while continuing to walk down the sidewalk her mind was everywhere but she needed to see Lacey to tell her the news.
