jungkook sat in corner of the dimly lit room, hood over his head and eyes narrowing onto the concrete floor he sat on.

his facial expression held anger, held resentment and a hint a sadness. he felt like he was wasting his life away.

his childhood was just him losing his parents and joining a gang that he secretly calls a "piece of shit".

he bit the inside of his cheek, his eyebrows furrowing further.

16 and being used as a weapon, as a way to get more money.

sure he still went to school but he didn't have many friends, only the ones who were in the gang with him and that was only a few.

he didn't consider them friends or family, barely considered them members. trying balance school and work for him was overwhelming for him.

"work", yeah right. work meant killing people. work meant dealing things that he shouldn't be dealing. work meant breaking the law. work meant nothing and everything to jungkook.

"yah," one of his members called out to him but he didn't budge. "why are you sitting like that, kid." he scowled at jungkook, glaring down at him from across the room.

he scoffed and nudged the guy next to him, grabbing his attention. "look the dude." he nodded his head up in a quick motion towards the younger on the floor, a slight smirk growing on his lips.

"probably thinking about a girl." the other guy sang in attempt to get a reaction out of jungkook.

"tch- or a guy." the guy from before spoke out once more. the two shared a laugh as jungkook tightened his fist, knuckles turning white.

he clenched his jaw, refraining from starting anything with the two. he was fed up, to say the least.

ever since they found jungkook kissing a guy on the side of his school campus, they've all been making fun of him.

except one members. this member always tried to be close with jungkook for whatever reason. obviously it didn't work out seeing that jungkook was by himself most of the time.

"hyungs, leave him alone." someone said assertively, walking into the room.

"and who are you to tell us what to do, hm?" the second guy stepped forward, putting his head up to seem tough.

"and who are you to make jokes about him like that, donghyun?" he shot back, raising an eyebrow.

"yah," the first guy started. "respect." he plainly stated, clenching his jaw.

the younger scoffed, looking towards jungkook. "yeah whatever, jihyuk."

he bent down in front of jungkook and tried to get his attention. "hey man we're about to grab a bite to eat-".

"i don't want anything." jungkook monotonously responded keeping his head down and eyes not moving once.

"you sure?" he asked jungkook, not sitting right with his answer.

"yes i'm sure, seojun." jungkook lifted his head and made eye contact with the other, facial expression staying the same from before.

seojun closed his mouth, eyes relaxing. he backed up with his hands slightly raised. "alright, jeon. i'll bring you something back."

"i said i don't want anything." jungkook slightly raised his voice at the other as he saw him walk out of the room with jihyuk and donghyun.

seojun just waved his hand, saying goodbye before jungkook looked away while a scoff escaped his lips.

he shook his head as he look back at the door, hearing it close. he glared at the door, a thousand thoughts running through his head.

he looked back at the spot on the concrete floor once more, taking in a breath. his eyes started to wander around the room, squinting them as if he was trying to think of something.

in fact, he was trying to think of something. but this "something" was dangerous. he was done with the whole gang shit he was in. he wanted to be a normal teenager, going to school without worrying if someone is about to run up on him or not.

he wanted to hang out with childhood friends that he's never had but always wanted. he wanted to live his dream of releasing music, becoming someone thousands, millions of people all around the world that look up to him.

he wanted to count down the days of when he'll get his soulmates initials tatted on his wrist.

he wanted to live a life that his parents wanted for him.

his pushed himself up off the ground and out the door the other left from before. he walked through the building to a room that had double doors as the opening.

inside was shelves upon shelves. stored on the shelves were random objects for decoration and a couple books. besides that, there was a sophisticated desk sitting in the middle of the room amidst the shelves.

he walked over to it, examining it. he was looking for a certain drawer that held an important key he needed.

he found the drawer, pulled it open and moved some files around to look for it. he found the key under all the files and smiled to himself.

he walked out the room, making sure it looked the way it did when he first came in. he walked towards this glass wall that had a door within it.

he opened that door with the key that he held in his scarred hands, twisting the key to the right.

his eyes looked up at all sorts of weapons. big ones, small ones, dirty ones, shiny ones.

of course all these weapons weren't as good as he was, according to the leader of the stupid gang he was a part of.

he scanned all the weapons, looking for a certain one. his eyes stopped as he saw a small switch blade, the handle was her black with silver accents. it was clean and sharp. that's why he needed it.

he also grabbed a small pistol, small enough to hid in his hoodie. he didn't want to get caught, he knows what would happen to him if he did.

he put the pistol in his black sweats and tied the lace tighter so it wouldn't fall through.

he put the switch blade in his back pocket along with his phone so it didn't look suspicious.

he looked around the place before locking the door and setting the key on the floor, not caring if his members saw it.

he kept his hood on his head, hands stuffed in his hoodie's pocket as he walked out the buildings door.

he looked left to right and back to left before telling himself the coast was clear. his members were out to eat, they won't know if he left or not until they came back and that was more than enough time for him.

he sighed to himself as he walked to where he would finally get freedom.
