"Kaede!"
No response.
"KAEDE!"
Who.. was that?
Shuichi?
My eyes fluttered open. Once they were fully open, they darted across the area.
The area was just white.
All white.
Like we were covered in light.
Just Shuichi and me.
No Kokichi, no Tsumugi.
Only the two of us.
When I woke up, Shuichi was kneeling beside me. His hat covered his face.
"Shuichi?... Are we stuck here forever?"
No response. He just looked up.
"Heyyyy, Shuuuichiiiiii?" I crooned.
He glanced at me, and scowled. "That isn't funny." he sighed, then stared at the emptiness above.
Funny... Shuichi never acts like that.
"Shuichi... why are you acting strange?"
He glanced at me again. He was frowning. "Strange? How?!" He was mad.
I gasped. "Shuichi- Something's off about you..."
He stood up. "Maybe there's something off about you, with your...- conspiracy theories, and... wacky thoughts!" He slammed his hat to the light and walked off. "Get lost."
He was just halfway from my sight when my instincts picked his hat off and dashed towards him. "At least take your cap with you!" I offered the hat to his back.
He never turned to face me. "I don't need it. This cap has your theories on it." He continued walking.
"Shuichi!"
"I said, get lost!" he shouted, then ran off.
