You begged your best friend while you were about to dump a bunch of volleyballs and volleyball equipment in the cart.
"Were not getting all that shit! Get one and put the rest back!" He said, pointing to the stuff in your hands
"Fine! Meanie!" You huffed as you placed a volleyball in the cart, putting the rest of the items in their rightful place. You ran after Bakugo as he started walking away with the cart.
"YOU ALMOST LEFT ME YOU ASS!"
"Oh calm down, and when we're you ever into volleyball?"
"You don't remember?"
"Don't remember what?"
"When I used to be on that volleyball team in middle school? And when you used to come over after your band practice?"
"Oh, ya! I remember that! You were the...?"
"Middle blocker," you said with a sigh which made Bakugo nod
"Can I get in the cart?"
"Fine" Bakugo said, obviously annoyed since this wasn't the first time you asked
He stopped the cart and you hopped in happily, spinning the volleyball in your hands while he continued to walk
'i miss playing volleyball..'
"TOSS ME A SET!" You heard your new fiery teammate Kichi tell your setter Kenji
You looked at all the guys on the court doing drills while your manager Kimiko wrapped tape around your fingers. She smiled at you softly as she moved back
"All done!"
You bowed "thank you!"
"No problem hun!"
You sighed, shaking nervously. You just got added to the boy's team when you heard that their middle blocker had moved away so that meant that they needed a new one. So they went over to the girl's team. Since you were the best middle blocker and was part of the other four which made five they, of course, put you up.
You weren't really excited about going to the boy's team, not because they sucked or anything but because they were amazing, way better then you, the setter, wing spiker's, ace, libero, middle blocker, they're all amazing and you were you, you thought you were the worst middle blocker ever.
You sighed as you tried to calm yourself down, moving a strand of your beautiful silky hair behind your ear
"I can do this...I can do this.." you mumbled to yourself as you stoped midway on the court. The sound of your sneakers stoping drawing everyone's attention
"Who's that?" You heard Kichi ask the libero Kisho
"I'm not sure.."
You took a deep breath before speaking
"Hi! I'm Y/N L/N and I'll be one of your new middle blockers!"
Everyone looked at each other before looking at you, smiling
"Well hey! I'm Koshiro the team captain" said one of the tallest guys there
He turned around and looked at everyone, chuckling
"Well, guys?! I think Y/N deserves a proper introduction!"
Everyone cheered while you heard the team manager talking to someone, you ignored it for now thinking about snooping and finding out who it is after you get introduced and at least play one practice game
"Well I'm Kichi and I'm your wing spiker!"
"Nice to meet you!"
"Nice to meet you too Y/N!"
He pointed to a person slightly taller than him
"And this is Kenji! He's our setter"
"And we're both first years, I think we have maths and English together" Kenji added while Kichi added that he saw you in social studies which you agreed
"Oh! So you're the kid who always calls out" you pointed to Kichi he chuckled awkwardly and nodded
"And you're the one who always hits him!" You said pointing to Kenji
"Guilty," Kenji said smiling while Kichi just huffed and mumbled something inaudibly under his breath
"Ok ok, now hush up! It's the second year's turn!" Said a boy about three or four inches taller than you
"So I'm Kisho! The best darn libero you've ever seen!"
"I'm Masaaki one of the middle blockers"
"I'm Masanori, the one that's going to replace Masaaki in a heartbeat"
"If you don't shut up!"
"Hey! Hey! Fellas!" Koshiro roared while sighing, "ok that's all for the second years, I already introduced myself, your classic opposite hitter and captain"
"I'm Michiya! The defensive specialist of the group and the best third year you'll ever meet"
"Oh shush, anyway I'm Minori and your outside hitter and I'm the best third-year actually"
"Um, ok?-"
"WELCOME TO THE TEAM!" Everyone yelled, making you smile
"THANK YOU FOR HAVING ME!" You yelled back, smiling
You already knew that you were going to like this team.
