After Principal Love put me to sleep and left the room, he was seen entering the living room with a gloomy expression on his face. He sat down on a couch before laying down. He was seen looking blank like he saw something before Whisker touch his shoulder when he looked at her.
There was a pause before she finally spoke, "Are you okay? You look tired."
He again looked blank like he saw something that no one can see. If he did see something, he would be looking at the demon of nuisance, Beläst. You may not know him; he makes people sell their souls to get revenge on the person that swore violence upon them.
How? He informs them that if they don't stand up for themselves from prejudice, they'll go to hell for all eternity. However, there's a price if they agree he'll say. When they agree, their soul will be taken away from them and replaced with a broken heart charm. When that's done, there's no going back. Since it's a sin to agree with a demon, they die a month after they lose their soul unless they're lucky enough to survive longer. When they die, they will confront their Heart God or Goddess before being sent to hell by demons if they don't receive forgiveness for their sins.
He finally respond, "Why does Macy and Chase have to be so hurtful to her?"
She responds, "I don't know. I wish she has the right to live with you."
She went to the kitchen to make him a hot water bottle. Why you may ask? When she touched his shoulder, it was cold as ice. She knew he was cold. While she was in the kitchen, he was seen hugging himself because he's cold. He shivered before Whisker came back to the couch he was laying down on when she gave him a comforter and went back to the kitchen.
While she's in the kitchen and Principal Love on the couch, he takes out his phone to look at the notifications. One of them is a text message from the clerk at the café. How did she know his number? It turns out, she used to be a teacher at Sugar Sweet High School before she was arrested for exposing one student's history of rape. That's right, embarrassment is actually an illegal form of punishment in Heart Stone.
Despite her actions, he missed her teaching. She and him used to be really close. Best friends in fact. By the way, it's been three years since she's been away from teaching.
He decided to call her rather than answering the text. He waits for her to answer before the ringing stopped.
"Hello?"
"Hey Miss Jen. Was it you that texted me?"
"That's right. I thought about contacting you because when you arrived to the café, you looked familiar the moment I saw you. I was afraid you're still mad at me from three years ago."
"Of course I'm not mad at you. It's just that what you did that day is what made me so upset."
He sat up with a pause before continuing, "Honestly, I couldn't describe how much I miss you. We used to be really close. I want you to know that no matter what you did, you and the teachers will always be the best people to ever work for."
Miss Jen drop the broom used to clean up the mess that the stranger made. She was seen blushing with her hand covering her mouth.
"Principal Love... You really mean that?"
He smiles, "Of course. Before you were taken away by police, you knew what kind of a life I lived in throughout my childhood. You understand me. That's why I love you. You realized how much of a horrible life I had to go through."
There was no response; she begins to tear up before bursting to happy tears.
"Oh Principal Love, no one has ever said such adoring words before!" She sobs as if she lost control of her emotions.
Whisker was seen entering the living room with a hot water bottle before walking towards the couch and set it down on his feet. She pets his head before going back to the kitchen.
After a minute of Miss Jen happy crying, she finally responds, "You're so sweet. How can you be so adoring to everyone?"
That question made him blush. He has his hand on his mouth.
He responds, "I don't know... I think I'm born like that."
She responds in a tone that sounds like she's in love, "Aww. Sweetheart must've gave you that sense of gentleness. How cute!"
He again had his hand on his mouth blushing. No response.
"Aww. Did I made you blush?"
There was no response until he begins to squeal with hearts bursting out of him when he lay down on the couch.
She giggles, "I can hear you squealing. Sounds like I made you blush."
He responds, "Miss Jen. You know how to make me happy. You're just like my little Mi-Chan."
"Aww, that's sweet of you. By the way, the police are here for questioning. They've just took him to prison."
"I see. Well, I hope we can meet again soon."
"I'm sure we will. I work here everyday. I'll talk to you again when needed."
"Of course. Please talk to me anytime. Bye." He ends the call as he lays down on the couch with his phone still on his hand.
