"Z-Zayta," I stammered.

The boy frowned. "Zayta...? But that's impossible... Zayta Zyresis died years ago..." He knelt in front of me and grabbed my hand, turning it over palm up. He held my hand with one of his and held his other above it, circling clockwise and causing both of our hands to begin glowing again. A soft, golden light started at the center of my palm and slowly spread out to the rest of my hand, following the same circling pattern of his hand. Then the light stretched from my palm to his and connected them together. I couldn't help but gasp when a slight tingling sensation suddenly turned into a full out blaze, snaking its way from my hand to my heart and burning the whole way. We both yanked our hands apart and I couldn't help but wonder if he had felt the same thing.

"It's impossible..." He repeated, sitting on the ground and leaning back on his hands. He stared at me, wide-eyed.

"W-what?" I stammered. I clutched the part of my jacket over my heart with a wince, the burning sensation still rather strong and painful.

He winced as well and was about to respond, but suddenly frowned, then glared. "What sort of game is this? What do you want from me?!" he yelled. "Why are you doing this?!" He stormed over and lifted me up by my jacket, a deep rage clearly burning behind his eyes.

"I-I don't understand! What do you mean?!"

"You know exactly what I mean! Why are you doing this to me?! What could you possibly want?! Was taking her from me not enough?!" He pulled back his fist as if he were about to hit me, but tears welled in his eyes and his arm started shaking badly, so he dropped me and quickly walked away. Then he broke out into a sprint and quickly faded from the landscape.

"I don't understand... I don't understand..." I kept repeating it over and over, unable to do much else besides tremble and cry. What was I supposed to do? I had just had the strangest encounter I had ever had, even more so than with the Doctor, and I was lost in some unknown place called the Third Dimension. I quickly pushed away the thoughts of everything else he had said, unable to comprehend it and unwilling to.

I lost track of time, but I eventually managed to wipe away my tears and stand to my feet. I looked all around me, but I didn't have a single clue as to where to go. So I just went forward. I didn't have anything else to do. I walked and I walked, the setting around me changing several more times. The longer I stayed the more dream like everything started to become. It all even had that blurred haze to it.

I never saw or heard any sign of the Doctor and Clara, or even of the Tardis. I was lost, helpless, and hopeless. So I did what any scared little girl would do: I laid down, closed my eyes, and wished it all away.
