Maggie sat uncomfortably in the studio, the guys were currently having a huge argument in the booth. Maggie looked over at their usual recording tech, Robbie, shyly smiling. Rob sighed rolling his eyes, before grabbing the phone to call Doc.
Of course when Doc got there and yelled at them, they got back to recording. Maggie sighed heavily, laying her head next to the sound board, Doc gently patted her back, watching the band record. "Heya Boys! How is everyone today?" A gentle voice cheerily asked, Maggie ignored her, brushing it off as another one of the intern's trying to catch a glimpse of Mötley Crüe.
Maggie heard Doc sighed heavily, "They're at each other's throats again Sharise. They always get like this towards the end of an Album, but jesus, I thought Tommy was going stab Mick with his drumstick." Sharise gave a light laugh, "They'll be fine Doc. I don't know about Tommy and Mick, but Vinnie is a Hot head at times, and Nikki has the tendency to be a smartass, so their bound to clash heads." Maggie's head shot up, and she turned to look at the 'intern', ready to give her a piece of her mind before the guys all crowded in.
Maggie huffed walking over to Tommy, who just sat down on the couch. She climbed up on the couch, laying herself on his back, "who's that Tom?" She whispered, Tommy huffed, smiling up at the girl "That is Vince's girlfriend, Sharise." Maggie raised her brow, "How did Vinnie land a girl like that?" Tommy laughed loudly, Maggie sliding off his back. "Anyone up for Dinner tonight at my place?" Vince offered, all the guys looked at each other, shrugging. Nikki looked at Maggie, "What'd say Maggie May, up for hanging out with the guys or do you wanna go home?" Maggie hummed, "I'm down for Dinner at Vinnie's."
Maggie sat next to Mick on the stone stairs of Vinnie's porch, "What's going on kid?" Maggie shrugged, looking away, "Do you think my dad's gonna get a girlfriend?" Mick sighed, smoking swirling around the two, "honestly kid, I don't know. Your Dad has become so unpredictable lately that it's hard to tell what he's gonna do. However, if he does, he won't forget about you. You're his everything Maggie." Maggie nodded with uncertainty, before Mick got up, "Come on kid, let's go give these idiots a show." Maggie smiled grabbing Mick's hand.
Once inside the pair sat down in the living room, Razzle and Tommy were rough housing, whilst Nikki could be heard talking with Vince and Sharise in the kitchen. Mick grabbed his guitar, handing Maggie her bass. Mick started plucking the first Chords to Penny Lane. Maggie following suit, before she started humming along,
"In Penny Lane, there is a barber showing photographs. Of every head he's had the pleasure to know And all the people that come and go. Stop and say, "Hello'" The boys both stopped rough housing, Mick missed a chord but quickly recovered listening to Maggie sing. The 6 year old had her eyes close as she sang the words, her fingers plucking the taught strings of her Bass expertly. "On the corner is a banker with a motorcar
And little children laugh at him behind his back
And the banker never wears a mac
In the pouring rain, very strange" Maggie carried the note a bit longer the note a bit longer than McCartney did, but it still sounded excellent. The light footsteps of the other three came into the livingroom, Nikki and Vince both looked shocked staring at the kid with dropped jaws. Nikki looked at Tommy and Razzle who both looked thrilled, and Mick looked throughly Proud. Smirking confidently at the young girl, as she began singing the chorus, "Penny Lane is in my ears and in my eyes. There beneath the blue suburban skies. I sit, and meanwhile back. In Penny Lane there is a fireman with an hourglass
And in his pocket is a portrait of the Queen. He likes to keep his fire engine clean. It's a clean machine." The group sat around the girl, listening to her sing. Maggie was lost in the music, she hadn't even noticed her family watching, or the light click of Vince turning on the video camera."There beneath the blue suburban skies. Penny Lane" Maggie finished, taking some deep breaths before smiling over at Mick, who looked at her impressed. Maggie blushed when she felt the gaze of everyone lookingat her, "What? Why is everyone staring at me!" Nikki smiled softly, "Why didn't you tell me you could sing like that Maggie?" Maggie shrugged, looking down at her Bass, "I've been getting lessons from Freddie and Paul. I didn't think it was a big deal." Vince knelt down in front of Maggie, "Babygirl this is huge! You have Talent , natural raw Talent." Maggie shook her head, placing her bass back in its case, "No I don't. I'm not a natural Vinnie, I've just been learning." Tommy grabbed Maggie's hand softly, "Maggie, it takes more than a few lessons to sing like that. You're a true natural, lil'devil." Maggie blushed, swiftly taking her hand out of Tommy's. "Is dinner ready yet?" Maggie grumbled, Sharise smiled softly, nodding "Yeah, Come on sweetie you can help me set the table." The two girls left the room leaving the Idiöt Crüe, and Razzle.
