I excitedly opened one of the ginormous packages that just arrived this morning here in our club room. I immediately smiled after seeing the custom backpacks inside the package.

Every year, ang lahat ng clubs in LKA ay required to initiate a project or activity and it should be spearheaded by graduating students as a sweet farewell daw. Some clubs opted for clean-ups, feeding programs, at marami pang iba na trip ng mga clubs. This year, I suggested sa club namin na magsasagawa kami ng outreach program kung saan magbibigay kami ng mga school supplies sa mga less fortunate children para may magamit sila sa susunod na pasukan.

I’m so happy that the club approved of it and now it’s finally coming to place.

Anyway, hindi naman kami mahihirapan para sa financial aspect kasi ang may-ari ng school ay palaging nagbibigay ng twenty thousand pesos per club to fund their activities. I told you, he’s pretty generous.

I was inspecting a cute denim backpack nang biglang bumukas ang pinto ng room. Riza, one of the club members entered with an envelope and was grinning from ear to ear.

Riza is also a graduating student kaya kasama ko siya sa pagpo-process ng activity nato.

“Abiiiiiii, hi!”, masiyahing bati nito.

“Hi Riz! Ang saya natin ah? Care to share?”

“Yes! Heto na ang memo from the principal’s office tungkol sa approval ng reach-out natin”

“Wow, talaga? Patingin”

We read the content of the memo and learned na inaprubahan nga nila na isagawa namin ang outreach program. The only problem is that we requested it for next Friday, but they assigned us to do it next Monday which is kinda alarming considering na we still have to buy some other things.

“Okay lang yan Riz, we will just have a meeting tomorrow para malaman natin ang ideas ng ibang members”

Okay lang yan no?

“Hey guys! I heard inaprubahan na daw ang program natin,” Yuan said.

“Yep, nalaman namin kasi nagchat si Riza sa groupchat ng club,” sabi naman ni Troy while retrieving a bag of chips from his backpack.
