Chapter 07: Heading to the Burrow

Hermione P.O.V

A few hours later, Ginny and I headed back to Gryffindor tower with all her books to put them into Ginny's trunk, so we can head to the Burrow. "Abstinence." Ginny said as we reached the portrait of the fat lady. "There you go Miss Granger and Miss Weasley." The fat lady said letting us in. "Hermione, what was in the potion that you gave to me to drink?" Ginny asked remembering that I had told her that I would tell her later. "I'm not quite sure what's in it. But it helped me when I was on my period with my really bad cramps." I said opening up the 6th year girl's dormitory door. "Thank you for telling Ron to leave me alone. I would of hex him if you didn't say anything. I can be scary when I'm on my period, more scary than when I'm on my period. Thank you for giving me the potion too Hermione, I owe you one." Ginny said giving me her books to put in her trunk so she can go to the bathroom to change her pad, I think. "You are welcome Ginny." I said sitting down on her bed. "I had a great idea and I told Harry this, but I have to talk to my parents first though." Ginny said from the bathroom. "And what was that?" I asked. "That you can sleep in Ron's room and Harry sleeps in my room." Ginny said going red in the face as she walked out of the bathroom. "That is a great idea Ginny. You are brilliant." I said and I can feel my face going red now too. "I know. I sleep better when I'm in Harry's arms just like last night." Ginny said walking over to her bed. "That's cute. I think we should get to the boys soon, they are probably wondering where we are." I said taking Ginny's trunk off her bed and walking to the door with it. "Yeah we should. Let's go then." Ginny said walking to the door right behind me. I opened the door and we hear voices. We walked down the stairs to the common room to see Harry and Ron playing chess. "What do you boys think you are doing not fixing our home." I said walking over to Ron and sitting on his lap while Ginny sat on Harry's lap. "Professor McGonagall told us to stop and let the Ministry take over, so we did." Ron and Harry said kissing Ginny and I on our cheeks. "Who's winning, love?" Ginny asked looking at the chess board then at Harry. "You really asking me that question love?" Harry asked looking from Ginny to the chess board to Ron and back to Ginny. "Yes, I did." Ginny said raising her voices a little. "Your brother is winning, love. No one can bet him in chess, he is too good." Harry said to Ginny. "Of course. I have beaten Ron once but after I bet him, he would..." Ginny said getting interrupted. "Practice every day and look where it has gotten me. I'm a beast at chess." Ron said before kissing me passionately on the lips . "Are you ok, love. You look really pale and you have a fever." Harry said making Ron and I break from the kiss to look at the pale Ginny sitting on Harry's lap while Harry had one of his hand on Ginny's forehead. "No Harry, I really don't feel well. I feel like I'm going to faint. I just want to go home please." Ginny said with tears running down her face. "I'm going to apperate you home, ok love. Don't worry, Everything will be fine, love. Ron and Hermione, can you tell Molly and Arthur that Ginny isn't feeling well and that I took her home. I'll be fine looking after Ginny for a little bit Hermione, don't worry." Harry said knowing that I would of wanted to help him. "Ok Harry. You will be alright Gin." Ron and I said as we got up to help pull Ginny's trunk to Harry. "Are you sure it's safe to disapperate and apperate when someone is not feeling well?" Ginny asked us looking really scared and more tears ran down her face. "Yes Ginny, It's completely safe." I said comforting Ginny. Harry and Ginny then disapperated to the Burrow with each other and Ginny's trunk. "Let's go Ron." I said grabbing Ron's hand and ran out of the common room towards the Great Hall. "Not so fast, love." Ron said stopping to try and catch his breath after running down 7 or 8 flits of stairs when we got to the marble staircase. "We don't have time Ron, you sister is pale and probably going to faint. We need to get her medicines, so come on Ron." I said starting to walk down the stairs before Ron grabbed my arm. "She wasn't pale when you guys where in the dormitory, right Hermione?" Ron asked looking at me really worried. "No she wasn't. Maybe..." I said thinking maybe she just wanted to be with Harry alone but wasn't quite sure. "You don't think it's the potion you gave her, do you." Ron said with fear in his voice. "No it couldn't be. I didn't go pale when I drank it." I said being sure of my answer. "What was the potion called anyway?" Ron asked pulling me close to him. "I really don't know, but it helped me when we were on the run with Harry." I said putting my arms around Ron's neck. "W-wa-wai-wait a minute Hermione. So your saying that my baby sister is on her period. Maybe she went pale because of the amount of blood she's lost?" Ron said smiling. "Ron, you are probably right. But lest just tell your mum and I can send a patronus to Harry." I said interlocking my fingers with Ron's and walking down the marble staircase to the Great Hall. "Mum, Ginny went home with Harry because she was really pale. Ginny said she felt like she was going to faint and she looked like she was going to pass out. We don't know why but we have a theory, though." Ron said to Mrs Weasley. "Ginny is on her period and her cramps were really bad that she was clutching he stomach. I gave her a potion to stop the pain. We went and grabbed all of her books then went back to Gryffindor tower so she can put them in her trunk. Well, I put them in her trunk because she wanted to check her pad. Anyway, Ginny wasn't pale when we went down the stair to the common room and see Harry and Ron. So we went and sat with them. Ginny said, 'Who was winning?'. 'You really asking me that question, love.' Harry said and Ginny snapped at him but Ron stepped in and said he was winning because no one can beat him. Ron and I were kissing, then all of a sudden Harry said, 'Are you ok, love. You look really pale and you have a fever.' Ron and I broke apart from the kiss and see her really pale and Harry felling her forehead. We promise Harry that we would tell you, so he can take Ginny to the Burrow alone." I said starting to have tears running down my face. "Hey Hermione, love. Ginny will be ok. This is normal, right mum?" Ron asked pulling me into a hug. "She must not of had her period for weeks maybe months, otherwise she would not of gone pale. Or she's starting to experience heavy bleeding. Or she could be getting sick, but I'm not really sure. I'll go home to see if she's ok." Mrs Weasley said. "Mrs Weasley, maybe we should wait and see if she's doing any better when we get home. I think she just wants to be with Harry, for now." I said lifting my head from Ron's chest and whipping my tears off my face with my sleeve. "You are right, Hermione dear. Can you send a patronus to Harry and tell him there is a potion in the cupboard in the kitchen that will help Ginny. Tell Harry to put her to sleep, so she can feel better." Mrs Weasley said. I nodded and took out my wand "Expecto Patronum." I said and a Otter appeared from the tip of my wand. "Harry, Ron and I just told Mrs Weasley. And she said that there is a potion in a cupboard in the kitchen that will help Ginny. She also said once she has had it, to put her to sleep so she can feel better. We will see you soon. Hermione Granger." I said. "That's my girl." Ron said kissing my cheek and I can feel my face going red. "Go to the Burrow." I told my patronus. It nodded and vanished. "What do we do now, mum?" Ron asked Mrs Weasley. "You two can continue restoring Hogwarts back to normal." Mrs Weasley said to Ron and I. "Ok mum. Where would you like to go then, babe." Ron asked looking at me. "Let's go fix the library, hun. By Mrs Weasley." I said grabbing Ron's hand, interlocking our fingers and walking out of the Great Hall  and up to the library to fix it.
