Chapter 15: Where did Harry and Ginny Go

Hermione's P.O.V

Ron and I didn't hear any laughing or shouting anymore. "SHIT!" Someone yell from upstairs. "Harry. Ginny." I said and with no reply. "SHIT!" Someone else yell from upstairs. "Harry. Ginny." I said again getting really worried. Ron and I heard feet running down the stairs. "There is no need to say their names, Hermione." Bill and Charlie said when they were nearly at the bottom of the stairs. "Why is that, Bill and Charlie?" I asked still worried about Harry and Ginny. "They are gone." Bill and Charlie said walking into the loungeroom. "What." Ron said. 'Harry and Ginny might have apperated to either Godric's Hollow, Potter Manor or Grimmauld Place. They will tell me when they get back, I hope.' I thought to myself and I came back to my senses. "All they said was 'See you later.' Then Harry apperated with Ginny to god knows where." Bill said sitting on the couch. "Yeah and I'm surprise we didn't go with them big bro." Charlie said sitting on another couch. "Well this is great then. Our baby sister and my best mate have apperated somewhere, probably doing things other than kissing or snogging." Ron said. "Ron, you do know who you're talking about, right?" I asked Ron. "Yes, I do, love." Ron said. "Good. Plus how long has it been since they have seen each other, Ron?" I asked Ron looking into his beautiful blue eyes. "Just over 9 months." Ron said looking into my eyes. "Well done Ron. Anyway, do you think they want to spend some time catching up with each other?" I asked Ron. "Yes, love. But they spend all their time together since they got back together." Ron said. "True." I said. "You hate seeing them together, don't you little bro?" Bill and Charlie asked. "Of course not, big bros." Ron said. "You are afraid that Harry will hurt Ginny again." I asked Ron. "Yes. Plus something else." Ron said. "And what would that be?" I asked. "I feel that Harry doesn't want to spend time with his two best friends that went on the run with him. Even though we didn't have too." Ron said holding my hand. "You could of when back to Hogwarts, but I was in serious danger, just as much as Harry was. Same with my parents." I said taking my hand out from Ron's and starting to have tears in my eyes because I miss my parents. I put my hand back into his and started to play with Ron's fingers. "Hey, what wrong love?" Ron asked. "I just miss my parents, Ron. I just wish I didn't have to erase their memory of me, to keep them safe from Voldemort and his Death Eaters." I said and I couldn't hold my tears in anymore. "It's ok to miss them, love. We'll talk to Kingsley and see if he can talk to the Ministry in Australia. We'll find them Hermione, ok. I promise you that. Plus I could of went back to Hogwarts, yes." Ron said rubbing his other hand up and down my back as I still played with his fingers. "Ok. But what if they can't find my parents? What if I can't restore their memory? Why didn't you?" I said tears running down my face still. "Stop with the 'what if' ok, Hermione. We will find them, I promise you, love. Because I couldn't leave you and my best mate, couldn't I? And I know I did leave you and Harry, but that was the locket that did that." Ron said still rubbing my back. "Why did you come back 7 weeks later, Ron? You could of came back earlier, then I would not have been in an emotional state that I was in." I asked and said still with tears running down my face while Ron still rubbing my back. Ron let out a sigh before he kissed my cheek. "Because of my romantic feelings for you, Hermione. It had grown too strong for me, that I couldn't even ignore it. I thought you preferred Harry over me and that's why I yelled at Harry because of my jealousy, spurring agony and madness that I tried to keep bottled up. It got to a stage, that I got anxieties overwhelmed and became convinced that you and Harry would be better off without me." Ron said. "Oh Ron. That will never happen, ever." I said hugging him tightly and he hugged me back. Then he pulled away from the hug so he could keep taking. "The locket had a unique power over me just like how the Dementors affected Harry. when I came back to you and Harry, I know that I was the one to destroy the locket, Hermione. And every day I was gone, I wanted to come back to you and Harry, I really did. I had so much anger in me, that I push the negative thoughts away and destroyed the horcrux after I came back and saved Harry from drowning in the lake." Ron said not even caring that Bill and Charlie are listening and watching us talk. "Wow little bro. Did you forget that we are here the whole time or something?" Charlie asked. "Shit. You guys heard every bloody thing I said?" Ron asked going red in the face. "Yes, we did. We are sorry little bro." Charlie said. "Maybe Harry wants to hang out with you two and Ginny at the same time. We don't know what to say about your story little bro. But all we can say is that the Ministry in Australia would be happy to help you find your parents, Hermione." Bill said. "Really." I said with a smile on my face but still with tears running down my face. "Yes, Hermione." Bill said smiling. "I guess you're right big bro." Ron said. "Don't worry too much, Ron. Just think at least it's not Dean Thomas or Michael Corner who is dating Ginny." I said while Ron whipped my tears away. "True, sweetheart." Ron said holding my hands again. "I can't believe that I get to see my parents again after 9 months." I said still holding Ron's hands but gripped them tighter from happiness. "I know. I'll help you find them. Can you loosen your grip on my hand please, love?" Ron asked looking me in the eyes. "Sorry love. I'm that happy that I gripped you hands very tightly." I said going red in the face. "Looks like someone wants to meet their girlfriends parents little bro." Bill said laughing. "Looks like it big bro." Charlie said laughing as well. "Shut it." Ron said going red in the face again. "You're not denying it either, love." I said kissing his cheek. "How do you put up with me, Hermione. Even if I offend you, Ginny and every other bloody girl I talk to?" Ron asked. "I just do. You just need to work on that, that's all." I said. "They will be back. Don't you worry too much." Fleur said coming into the loungeroom and sitting on Bills lap. "I guess you're right sweetheart. I was scared to meet Fleur's parents for the first time wasn't I, sweetheart." Bill said kissing Fleur on the cheek. "Yes, you were. Anyway, my parents love you and your big family, honey." Fleur said kissing Bill on the cheek and resting her head on his shoulder. "Not you guys too." Ron said. "Ronald." I said slapping him in the back of the head. "What the bloody hell was that for." Ron asked rubbing the back of his head. "Calm down little bro. It was only a kiss on the cheek not the lips." Bill said. "What do you mean 'Not you guys too.', Ron?" Charlie asked Ron confused. "You see, Ronald does like Harry and..." I said getting interrupted. "Don't you dare say what I think you're going to say." Ron said to me. "Or what." I asked crossing my arms and having an angry tone in my voice. "Fine, just tell them. I'm sorry babe." Ron said giving me a hug. "Apology accepted Ron. I can't really stay mad at you forever, can't I." I said hugging Ron back. "No Hermione, you really can't." Ron said kissing my cheek. "What do you see in our brother, Hermione?" Bill and Charlie asked. "Well..." I said getting interrupted. "Where are Harry and Ginny?" George asked coming into the loungeroom. "We don't know. Hermione was just about to tell us why our little brother said, 'Not you guys too' and what she sees in our little bro." Charlie said. I can feel my face going red at the words. "Let me guess. Ron hates Harry and our baby sister kissing in front of him. Ginny hates our baby brother and Hermione kissing in front of her." George said sitting on the floor near Bill and Fleur. "Wow, nothing gets past you." Ron said going red in the face as well. "Wow, I guessed right then." George said and we all laugh including Ron. "We all need a laugh these days, don't we. So tell us what you see in our little brother, Hermione." Charlie said. "Besides his bad way of talking to girls." I said. "Hey, I'm here you know." Ron said. "Well it's true little bro and you know it." George said laughing again. "Whatever, George." Ron said. "Can I continue then." I asked. "Yes, please continue. I want to see how our little brother won your heart, Hermione." Bill said making Ron and I's face go even redder. "He's funny, loyal, caring, he has a strategic mind even if he isn't smart like me. He's brave, light-hearted and stud up for me when I was bullied by Malfoy and the whole Slytherin House. That's what I was attracted too." I said still red in the face, so I buried my face into Ron shoulder. "Wait a minute, Malfoy as in Draco Malfoy? Malfoy bullied you?" Bill and Charlie asked. "That's the one, big bros. Yes, he did bully Hermione and us Weasley's too. Fred, Ron, Harry, the Gryffindor Quidditch team, the Slytherin Quidditch team but they thought it was really funny, Colin Creevey and I saw it." George said. "Even if the curse I used back fired, I'll always save and protect you, Hermione. I remember in our third year what you said to Malfoy when we went down to Hagrid's." Ron said. "Thanks Ron. I'm surprised you actually remembered that." I said still with my face buried in Ron's shoulder. "Yes. Anyway you said, 'You foul, loathsome, evil little cockroach' and you had your wand up to his neck. He was scared of you, which was really funny to watch. Anyway I had to stop you because I didn't want you to get expelled from Hogwarts because life without you, would have been boring for Harry and I. Anyway, you put your wand down, turned around to Harry and me while Malfoy laughed, and you punched Malfoy right in the face. He ran off after that." Ron said laughing and eventually we all had to laugh at that. "That was the first time I punched someone. It felt really good though." I said kissing Ron's cheek making him go red. "He did deserve it though for what he called you, Fred, George, Percy, Ginny and I." Ron said. "What did Malfoy say that the Slytherin Quidditch team thought was so funny about you, Hermione? Surly he didn't call us 'Blood traitors' and called you something worse than that, did he?" Bill and Charlie asked. "Yes, he did call all the Weasley's that were still at Hogwarts that. Anyway, Malfoy called me, well this." I said not doing anything except shacking. "What's wrong, love?" Ron asked. "I can't do it, Ron. Can you do it please. Lift my sleeve up for me, please Ron." I said hiding my face in Ron's shoulder and cried again. "Of course love." Ron said lifting up my left sleeve to show my 'Mudblood' scare that I got from Bellatrix Lestrange when she cut into my arm at Malfoy Manor. "Bloody hell Hermione, you haven't shown Harry and I that." Ron said pulling me closer to him. "I put stuff on it to hid it until I wanted to show it instead of saying it. You know I got and still get called that, Ron." I said while Ron pulled my sleeve down and held my hands again. "I know." Ron said kissing my cheek. "Who did that to you, Hermione?" Bill, Charlie and George asked. "Bellatrix Lestrange did it when we were court by snatchers that we tried to run away from and took us to Malfoy Manor. Don't worry she's gone thanks to your mum because Bellatrix's tried to kill your sister." I said trying not to touch my scare. "What? How do you know this?" Bill, Charlie and George said. "You were with me fighting Nagini on the Grand Staircase, right?" Ron asked. "Luna told me everything what happened when I was having a 'girls talk' with her. Yes, I was with you, Ron." I said. "Makes sense. Please continue." Bill said. "Anyway, Ginny was duelling Bellatrix and she shielded herself from a blue spell that Bellatrix got at Ginny. Plus your mum witnessed it all. I've never seen you mother so angry with rage before." I said laying my head back on Ron's shoulder. "Thank god mum step in at the right moment." Ron said rubbing his hand up and down my back again. "Yep. I never heard your mum say, 'Not my daughter, you bitch!' before and she pushed Ginny out of the way. Bellatrix turned her attention to your mum quickly with an evil laugh. Your mum stood on one of the house tables that Bellatrix's was on, hitting Bellatrix with a spell and started duelling Bellatrix fiercely until she was gone. After your mum defeated Bellatrix, she hugged Ginny and they both cried. Bellatrix will never to be seen again. Except I have to live with this scare and the memory of her cutting into my skin with a knife while I screamed so loud as a reminder of her. She also used one of the unforgivable curses on me over and over again. Bellatrix put the knife up to my neck and cut though some of my skin when Ron and Harry tried to save me. She left a thin cut on the front of my neck. Luckily Dobby saved my life and I ran to Ron without any hesitation." I said going red in the face. "I thought you stopped having nightmares about what Bellatrix did to you. You lied to me." Fleur said. "I'm sorry I lied to you Fleur. Sorely you get where I'm coming from, right. I still have them every time I see my scare." I said tears running down my face. "You don't have to finish the story if you don't want too, love." Ron whispered into my ear. "I'm going to keep going." I whispered back into Ron's ear. "Ok. I'm here ok, just keep going." Ron said. "When we got back to Hogwarts, we went to the chamber of secrets and grabbed a Basilisk fang. I used it to destroy the cup because it was another horcrux and we got drenched with water after I destroyed it. We had our first kiss, well my first kiss." I said going redder in the face. "You were the one who kissed me." Ron said going red in the face. "Anyway, we returned to Harry in the Room of requirements and..." I said getting interrupted. "Wait a minute Hermione, you kissed our little brother?" Charlie asked. "Well technically we both kissed each other, at the same time." I said going even more red. "You still kissed me, Hermione." Ron said. "You can't deny that you enjoyed it either, Ron." I said then covered my mouth as I realised what I said. "Hermione." Ron said. "Shit. I shouldn't have said that. I'm so sorry Ron" I said having tears running down my face. "You are forgiven, Hermione." Ron said pulling me into a hug and I put my head on Ron's shoulder still crying. "What did you say, Hermione?" Bill, Charlie and George asked. "Forget I said anything. I feel bad that I said what I said." I said. "You're not wrong love." Ron said going red in the face. "What." I said going red as well and not lifting my head. "He's not denying it big brothers." George said. "We can see and hear you know little bro." Bill and Charlie said. "Shut it George. Like a girl has kissed you and you enjoyed every bit of it." Ron said still red in the face. "I can't believe I'm going to say this little bro." George said. "What are you saying little bro?" Charlie asked. "I never thought that my two little siblings would have their first kiss before me. That's the only thing you and Ginny have done before me." George said going red in the face. "Did he." I asked trying not to say Fred's name and still had my head on Ron's shoulder. "That's the only thing we didn't get to talk about. We do need to have our private life too, you know. Well, he did tell me he was dating someone but I'm not sure if they kissed at all." George said. "I just wanted to know" I said. "Wait a minute George, Fred had a girlfriend before me?" Ron and Charlie asked. "Yes." George said. "You aren't alone little bro." Bill said as he knows something the rest of us didn't. "What are you doing big bro?" Charlie asked. "Just saying that two other people in our family haven't had their first kiss, yet." Bill said making Charlie go red in the face. "You are outing me, George and Fred out. Fed will never have his first kiss ever, but George and I will someday." Charlie said. "Right, like that will happen." George said. "You never know little bro." Bill said. "Who was the girl that Fred asked to the dance at the Yule Ball?" Bill and Charlie asked. "Fred and I know her from school and Quidditch." George said. "Are you talk..." Ron said getting interrupted. "Ronald don't you dare." I said. "What was her name?" Bill and Charlie asked. "I believe her name is Angelina Johnson." Fleur said. "I remember seeing that name in Fred's letter mouths before the Yule Ball." Bill said. "What did he say?" George asked. "He basically asked for advise on how to ask Angelina Johnson or Alice Spinnet to the Yule Ball for himself and you too George." Bill said. "Well I went with Alice while Fred went with Angelina. Ginny went with Neville while Ron went with Padma Patil. Harry went with Parvati Patil who are identical twins by the way and Hermione..." George said getting interrupted. "I went with Victor Krum and nothing happened between us just to be clear on that." I said still with my head on Ron's shoulder. "Alright that's enough talking about who has or hasn't kissed who and who went to the Yule Ball with who. Please continue Ron." Fleur said. "Thanks Fleur. As I was saying, we saw that Goyle wanted to shot spells at Harry. So we started shoot spells at Malfoy, Crabbe and himself. They shot spells back at us and Goyle shot the killing curse at Hermione that missed her, thank goodness. Anyway, I was so angry, that I ran after them saying, 'That's my girlfriend, you numpties.'..." Ron said getting interrupted. "Numpties?" Bill asked. "It means a stupid or ineffectual person." I said not even lifting my head from Ron's shoulder. "Big words little bro." Charlie said. "You finally grown on him, Hermione." George said making Ron's and I's face go red. "Looks like it. Anyway Ron, please continue." I said snuggling even close to him. "Goyle decided it was a good idea for fire, but he lost control of it. Anyway, I ran back yelling 'Run! Run!' to Harry and Hermione. Then when I got back to Hermione and Harry, I said, 'Goyle's setting the bloody place on fire'. Goyle died and we had to save Malfoy and Crabbe because Harry didn't want to feel bad if people died because of him." Ron said. "So that's why you like our little brother, Hermione?" Bill asked on behalf of his other brothers. "If you put it that way, then yes." I said. "It's cute." Fleur said. "Thanks Fleur." I said lifting my head of Ron's shoulder and smiling at Fleur. "Neville had some interesting things to tell me when he and Ginny meet up with Harry during the battle." Ron said. "What was interesting about it?" I asked. "Well, Harry said, 'Ginny, Neville. Are you all right?'. Neville said, 'Never better. I feel like I could spit fire. You haven't seen Luna, have you?' and...." Ron said getting interrupted. "Ginny didn't tell me this bit." I said. "Anyway, Harry said, 'Luna?'. Neville said 'I'm mad for her! I think it's about time I told her since we'll probably both be dead by dawn.' and he ran to go find her. I thought it was really cute, but he did want to tell me anything else, but Luna wanted to talk to Neville in private." Ron said. "That's right. She did said that she needed to tell Neville about something and ran off towards you and Neville then you ran towards me. Anyway, Harry and I are really sick of you and Ginny yelling at each other." I said and starting to cry again but at the thought of what happened last night. "Come here, love." Ron said as he put my head back on his shoulder and I cried while he kissed the top of my head. "What do we do now? I mean about Ginny and Harry?" Bill asked. "Just leave them be. They will be fine. Plus their teenagers after all." Fleur said. "So are we, but we don't read each other's mind like they do." Ron said. "Well spotted." I said still with my head on Ron's shoulder. "Fred and I have heard those words somewhere before." George said making my face go red. "The day Fred asked Angelina Johnson to the Yule Ball. Then I asked Hermione and it completely backfired." Ron said. "Wait a minute little bro. Did you just say that our little sister and Harry can read each other's minds?" Bill and Charlie asked. "Yes." I said still with tears running down my face. "Since when did that happen?" Bill asked. "Last night for Harry and this morning for Ginny.?" I said. "I hope they will be back for dinner." Bill said. "Me too." Charlie, George and Ron said. "What's today's date?" I asked when I calmed down. "The 4th. Why's that honey." Ron asked. I can feel my eyes opening wider. I jumped off Ron and ran to the nearest calendar. Ron was right it was the 4th. I took out my wand from my pocket. "Accio beaded bag." I said and my bag flow into my hand. "What's that noise?" Bill asked. "It's probably Hermione, I'll go and check on her." Ron said and came to where I was. I put my arm in my bag trying to find my own calendar. "Come on, I know it's in here somewhere." I said still trying to find my calendar. "What are you looking for babe?" Ron asked. "My calendar that has all my dates for personal things on it. I'm just double checking that I'm right." I said still with my arm in inside my bag. "Want some help?" Ron asked. "No thanks, Ron. But thanks for asking." I said pulling my arm out with nothing in it. "Just remember that you are a witch after all." Ron said winking at me, and it click. I pointed my wand inside my bag. "Accio calendar." I said and my calendar came flying out of the bag. "There you go, you just need to be reminded that you are a witch for a reason." Ron said smiling at me while I looked at me calendar. "No, no, no, no, no. Why does it have to be today?" I said sitting on the floor, pulling my knees up to my head, wrapped my hands around my knees and rocked back and forth. "What's wrong babe?" Ron asked crouching down in front of me. "I'm on my period." I said not even lifting my head. "Accio chocolate." Ron said. "What are you doing babe?" I asked lifting my head up. "I'm helping you of course. So here, eat this." Ron said putting some chocolate into my mouth. "Thank you, babe." I said kissing him on the lips. "You are very welcome sweetheart." Ron said kissing me on the lips and turning it into a make-out session. "Are you two done making out yet." Bill said a few minutes later leaning on a wall with a smirk on his face and making Ron jumped away while his face turns red. "Yeah, we really didn't want to see that." Charlie said leaning on another wall with a smirk on his face too. "What were you guys doing watching us making out anyway?" Ron asked still red in the face.
