At the game "Isolate Nathan Scott on the baseline." The sports announcer says......

"The Masenberg defense tightens on him. Scott battles through, still working hard to get open down there. Now Tim Smith, with the ball, working over on the wing. He's dribbling, looking for Nathan underneath, but he's not there. And now- Oh! Oh! A cross-court pass putting Lucas Scott over the basket.".

Tim throws the ball and Lucas makes the winning shot just the buzzard rings through the gym.

"Go, Luke!" Rose shouts happily.

So let me get this straight you have no running water?" Rose asks with a laugh as Lucas Rose and Haley stand on the court after the game.

"It's not funny, Ro," Lucas says as he playfully shoves Rose as Nathan walks up.

"Two decent games in a row, man. Getting better or lucky?" Nathan teases and Lucas breathes heavily while Rose rolls her eyes.

"Team's got a party tonight. My parent's beach house." Nathan says.

"Why are you telling me that?" Lucas asks, confused.

"Because I said the team, didn't I?" Nathan says. "Look it's going to be a long season. Might as well deal with it." Nathan starts to walk and turns around."Rose, you can come too." Nathan says, looking at her.

Lucas, Haley, and Rose were on their way to the party. Haley leans forward from the backseat.

"The guys kidnapped you, trashed your court, threatened you with bodily harm. Party? Yeah. Sure, why not?" Rose says, sarcastically.

"Okay, listen, I know it's all a setup, alright? But I'm not gonna let him screw with me. Whatever he dishes out he's going to get back double." Lucas says.

"Do you guys think maybe-- I mean, just maybe-- he's had a change of heart?" Haley asks and looks at Rose who pretends she does see Haley.

"Hmm. That requires a heart." Lucas says, shaking his head as he parks.

"I wasn't sure you'd come," Nathan says, approaching them as they get out the car.

"That makes two of us." Lucas mumbles and Rose gently nudge him. Rose knew If he showed up to this party he needs to make an effort to get along with Nathan.

"Hi, I'm Nathan Scott," Nathan says, looking at Haley and Rose.

"Yeah, I know, I'm Haley," Haley says, walking past him.

Nathan looks at Rose and smiles, Rose smiles before walking away to catch up with Lucas and Haley.

Lucas, Haley, and Rose look around as they enter the beach house.

"Well... I bet their plumbing works." Rose says, looking up at Lucas. "Hahaha, very funny." He says, sarcastically.

"I'm just saying," Rose says, holding her hands up in defense.

"Have you guys seen this?" A cheerleader named Teresa says as holding a newspaper. Haley, Lucas, and Rose walks up to the small crowd.

"The High School Fearleader. It's a comic strip. Wait, this is insulting, right?" Brooke asks.

"My dog can draw better than this." A guy from the basketball team named Vegas.

"Really, what guy keeps his hat on during sex?" Brooke says, looking at the paper and Rose looks up from the paper, laughing and notices Nathan staring at Peyton.
