Rose looked around the gym that was packed with people all chanting, "Tutor Girl, Tutor Girl Don't Screw Up!" The cheerleaders and Tim with their pom-poms.
Okay, folks, this is it. Roseanne Choi steps to the line with a flawless 4.0 GPA hanging in the balance. She's going to need this free throw to pass Phys-Ed. Otherwise, her perfect grade point average is history." Mouth announced as she stepped to the foul line in her pajamas and dribbled.
She looked at the people waiting on the court for my shot and her eyes fell on a shirtless Nathan, Come on, Rosie. You can do it."
"Don't miss it, tutor girl," Whitey called as I put the shot up, watching as it fell just a few feet in front of me.
Rose sat up violently in her bed in a cold sweat confused until she realized it was all just a dream. Another realization, how Nathan looked fine without a shirt.........
Rose over at her clock she noticed it was barely four in the morning but she could not fo back to sleep she had a bad feeling about today. Like something bad was going to happen.

The school was over and Rose was making her way over to Lucas in the hope she can get some help from him.
Rose knocked lightly on the door before letting herself on, the knock was really just for courtesy.
"What's up, loser?"Rose asked, closing it behind her.
"Hey, you." Lucas laughed, typing away on his computer. "I'm just finishing up this email to my mom cause she comes back tomorrow." Lucas smiled.
"Oh cool. Tell her I said 'Hi'."Rose said, grabbing a bouncy ball from Luke's dresser and throwing at the floor once. "You're going to call me when she gets back from the airport, right?"She asked, sitting at the foot of the bed.
"Oh yeah," Lucas confirmed, still typing.
"Cool," Rose said, throwing the ball in the air and catching it. "So, I need to borrow a couple of things from you, like your basketball and you."
At this, Lucas stopped typing and turned around to face her, slightly giggling as he spoke. "Okay, why?"
"Because I'm totally flagging PE and I need you to show me how to throw a stinking free shot," Rose said, spastically throwing her arms around to demonstrate the motion.
Lucas laughed at her excess level and spasticness and inability to talk sports as he walked to grab his basketball from the side of his bed. "Free throw."
"Whatever."Rose sighed.
"You know I'd love to, Ro, but I've got to do some stuff with Brooke and Peyton tonight." He said, flopping the basketball into her hands.
"Like what?"Rose asked.
"I kind of need to talk to you about something," Lucas said, shoving his hands in his pockets, something he did when he was unsure or uncomfortable.
"What's going on?"Rose asked worried about her best friend.
Just as Luke opened his mouth to speak, Brooke charged in without a warning.
Lucas shifted his gaze to Rose as he said, "Never mind. Raincheck?"
"Mhm," Rose hummed, in agreement standing to leave. "You kids have fun."She said walking out.
*********
Rose decided to head down to the river court and practice herself, missing horribly as Nathan walked up and caught the ball.
