James had just gotten home from fighting in a war. It has been five years since he last saw you. Now he stood on your front porch holding a bouquet of your favorite flowers. He rang the doorbell, and took a deep breath.
You opened the door slowly, not expecting it to be anything important, but then you saw him. "James, is it really you?" you asked, because you thought he was dead.
Tears were brimming in his eyes as he removed his hat, "Yes. It's me."
