Odin had been watching Loki since he had been staying on Midgard for most of his time now. He discovered that Loki had actually found someone who loved him and he loved her back. Odin called Loki before him and said, "You cannot stay with the mortal woman anymore."
Loki was horrified when his father said those words, "B-but I love her father! Why do I have to leave?"
"It's for the better."
"How is this better! You cannot possibly take away the love of my life and say it's for the better! Tell me how this will make things better! TELL ME!"
