"What are you to Mr Fenelus ?" The guy at the front desk in the hospital asked me
"His girlfriend."
"Just a second." He typed on his computer "And what's your name ?"
"Diamond Jamil." I said and he nodded picking up the phone calling up to the room to clarify everything
"ID please." He said and I went in my purse getting my drivers license cause that's all I had on me
"Here you go ma'am." He gave me a visitor wristband and a visitor ID sticker tag "It'll be room 20F, right this way." He pointed
"Thank you, which floor is the room on ?" I asked
"The fourth floor, seventh door on the left." He told me and I nodded walking towards the elevator and getting on
I pressed the correct floor before I finally went on my phone seeing I was tagged in so much shit. I seen the video was posted and I cried looking at it
Why would people sit up and record something like that though? People are just sick
When I went on my Twitter it was the same shit too. It wasn't barely anything negative people were saying that if it was their significant other they would do the same
After elevator opened I walked down counting the doors. As I came closer my heart my beating out of my chest.
I slowly walked in seeing Kendra at his bed side and Swift Kash and Sauce standing around him as he laid there plugged up to machines with a oxygen mask over his face
"You okay ?" Swift asked me and I nodded walking closer staring at him. I quickly wiped the tears away that pooled my eyes
"He gone be okay." Sauce looked at me and I sniffled nodding.
"You gone be okay ?" His mom rubbed my shoulder an hour later and I nodded
"We'll be back first thing in the mornin." She said
"Okay." I said hoarsely
All the boys gave me a hug before they left. They were gonna go get some rest and come back
"I left the blankets over there for you ma'am." The black nurse with a pixie cut walked in putting the blankets on the small bed in the corner
"Thank you." I said before holding Natino hand and laying down on him again. I laid on him until I felt myself dozing off and I finally got in the hospital bed that was in the left corner
It was freezing so I put my hood over my head along with the cover before I finally dozed off to sleep. I don't know how but I slept so fucking good on that hard ass bed
Natino's people's came back the next morning early like they said. I was exhausted but I got up anyway cause I couldn't sleep
This time around was Natino's mom and some of his cousins and step siblings. It was crazy cause every single one of his boy cousins had dreads
"Rememba me jit ?" The boy with a head full of dreads asked me and I stared at him for a few seconds
"Oh wassup Runik." I laughed before we hugged
Runik introduced me to the rest of his cousins who seemed to be pretty cool.
Two of his aunties and three of his uncles also brought ballons and followers but they couldn't stay because they had to work
"You ate baby ?" His mom asked and I shook my head and she took a aluminum foil wrapped plate out of the bag
"I made breakfast." She smiled handing it to me
"Thank you ma." I took it from her and looked inside seeing the waffles eggs and corned beef hash.
She also gave me a Sunny D to wash it down. After I ate I went to use the bathroom. I felt so much better. I went back to the room
"Whea Jamil ?" I heard Natino voice making me melt. I was so happy to hear him talking.
"Right hea ugly." I said smiling and he smirked before he used his other arm that wasn't casted to drink some water
His mom let the bed up alittle and I went to grab my phone
"That hurt ?" His mom asked talking about the position of the hospital and Natino shook his head
I went on my phone checking the time because I did have a hair appointment today.
It was in an hour but I had to go home and get ready because this was apart of a paid promotion and I had to dress nice
"Babe I gotta go.." I walked over to him on the other side making him look at me and he grabbed my hand pulling me closer
"Whea you goin ?" He looked at me
"I gotta hair appointment, you gone be okay ?" I asked and his smile dropped alittle
"Aight. I luh you." He puckered his lips and I leaned down kissing his lips "Be safe."
"Okay." I mumbled going to get my purse
"I'll be back later Ma." I gave Kendra a hug along with Runik and a few others
"Drive safe jit." Runik said and I nodded smiling before I finally went out the door going down the hall
I drove back home and I texted back Sophie and Dej and they said they wanted to come over as I got ready for my hair appointment
"Girl you had me scared as fuck last night, why you ain answer the phone !" Sophie said hugging me
"Foreal, girl we thought you got shot before we seen the video." Dej told me and I shook my head locking the door
"That shit was so fuckin crazy." I said before going back into my room
"You a real one for stayin wit jit cause I would've been gone too damn quick." Dej joked making me laugh as I looked for an outfit
"I just wanna know why the fuck they was shootin at y'all inna first place." Sophie said and I shrugged
"I have no fucking idea but after they hit Natino that first time they came back and shot at me again." I said throwing out my black bodycon dress
"Man I was too fuckin scared ain know what to damn do and I was too scared to get my phone."
"My thing is why the fuck was people recording the shit instead of callin the fuckin police !" Dej ranted and I nodded in agreement
"People just sick." I mumbled
