Y'all, I just want to say a few things. I know this pandemic is hitting everyone differently - we've all got family, health, work, and school on our minds. I also know there's a lot of other stuff people aren't talking about as much. Sure, the economy is fucked, but there's reports of increasing domestic violence and crisis hotline calls. People are really struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I wanted to start off with that because I know this book is a little darker than my other stuff, and for that reason, I'm taking a small break. I want to be a source of happiness in these times, and I don't think my upcoming chapters as planned are going to be that. If you haven't guessed from the last cliffhanger, Peter isn't through the woods yet.
So, for now, just for a few weeks while K-12 and college/spring term classes are wrapping up and while people are still figuring out quarantine, I'm going to take a break from this one. In return, I'm going to be working on chapters before publishing them so when I do upload, I will do all of them at once, and you guys can read to the very end uninterrupted. This way, people who are still in classes can finish those up before I hit them with those hard feels.
And, because I still feel as though that isn't enough, I'm going to be doing a week of fluff on my one-shot book. In addition to the requests and run-of-the-mill chapters I write, I'm going to be doing 1 chapter a day of just fluff. Peter Parker and Tony Stark get the happiest endings, y'all, and if that makes at least one person smile during this crazy time, then I feel as though I've done something pretty special.
I hope you all understand and aren't too upset. I have been so amazed by the support of my readers, and I know you all are very interested in this plot line, so I really debated doing this. In a time of uncertainty and unease, however, it's important to be a creator of something soft and soothing, not something to add anxiety.
As always, I'm grateful for your support and reads, and I'm a pretty dedicated author, so if y'all want me to do another book in the meantime (Say, a 10 chapter or so work on how Tony would have been the best dad to a little baby Peter), then comment and tell me that! If y'all want more requests, or more chapters here, tell me that, too!
If I get an overwhelming amount of people asking for me to keep going on this book, I'm more than happy to, I just felt uncomfortable posting the next sad chapter without talking to you guys first. I'm really here for you guys.
