Dumbledore's PoV
I was strolling around my office when I heard a tapping sound. It didn't occur to me at first that it might be an owl trying to get in.

I sat down and tried to block out the sound, but it kept going on and on.
Tap and a pause then sharper tap.
I then thought it may be a coded message. But the best message I got was simply "Your goat ate my dog" although how I got that was a mystery to me.
I then checked the door if there was anyone there. The tapping could have been knocking. But how someone would be able to knock like that was beyond me.

I then finally decided that it was an owl and looked out the window.
The little voice in my head was going on and on about how people thought I was sooooo wise and powerful.
The owl tapped again steering me from my thoughts and I slowly opened the window.
I examined the little owl and I found it to be an owl I had not seen before. It was a dazzling white with flecks of brown here and there. The envelope it carried was perhaps even more strange.
It was written but a steady hand in a thick quill. And weirdest of all it only had four words written on the page. It said, quite clearly;
Let the spider in
