It was a sunny early afternoon in Spain when the two Ferrari drivers sat down outside their hospitality for lunch. Compared to the last time they were in Barcelona when they were here for winter testing, it was a very warm day outside. They both sat in their Ferrari T-shirt and some shorts. Sebastian was still busy with his late lunch while Kimi had shoved his empty plate away to the side and was smirking at his phone. Sebastian noticed how his fingers typed fastly on the little screen of his phone and it looked as if his teammate wouldn't even notice if Sebastian was to leave him alone here. Usually on a Thursday afternoon on a racing weekend, Sebastian rather would not be spending time with his teammate, because usually his teammate could react annoyed with all the media stuff that he was forced to be doing. But today seemed different.
"Is Minttu really more important than me?" Sebastian joked and grinned at his teammate as he was sure the mother of his child was keeping him busy on the phone.
"Hmm?" Came out of Kimi's mouth, but looking at Sebastian wasn't something Kimi was doing with his response to the younger teammate. Sebastian pressed his lips together as he was thinking of a way to get the attention from the Finn. Sebastian leaned forward and tried to take the phone away from his teammate, but the Finn was obviously faster and moved backwards, making the phone that Sebastian was aiming for out of reach. Kimi couldn't help but look amused at his younger teammate for a few seconds, right before his eyebrows started to raise up.
"What do you think you're doing?" he asked as he kept his phone close by his body.
"Just trying to look what was so interesting," Sebastian responded. "But I guess I will never know what funny thing Minttu told you." Sebastian sighed dramatically and a grin crept upon his face as he thought he was being funny with the dramatic sigh. Because they sat right in front of the Ferrari hospitality they were spotted quite a lot and even got photographed a few times. But even with that Kimi didn't seem to mind it at all. He really was in a good mood.
"Why are you assuming I'm talking to Minttu?" Kimi asked as he ticked with his fingers against the table. He put his phone down on the table, close to his hand.
"Well... you are... right? You always smile like an idiot when you text her. Kinda wish you would do that if I text you," Sebastian laughed as he leaned back in again and gave a little playful push against Kimi's shoulder. Kimi let it happen this time as one of his mouth corners started to curl upwards. He never knew what it was about Sebastian, but since they first became friends he had an immediate click with the younger guy, which was rare. Therefore, Sebastian could always get more out of Kimi than anyone else in the paddock. He always got praised for making Kimi show a smile while others do not even get a nod from the Finn, which was for both of the Ferrari drivers amusing to hear. Kimi doesn't feel the need to show his real self to the world. Only his close friends and family got to enjoy that, including Sebastian. Because after these years, Kimi couldn't help but see Sebastian as a younger brother to him. Not that he would ever say that out loud to the guy. Sebastian would enjoy that a little bit too much.
"Never gonna happen Vettel. I actually always try to ignore your messages," Kimi said teasing as what he said wasn't completely true. "But... if you really wanna know: I wasn't texting Minttu. It's Camilla."
"Oh, your sister you mean!" Sebastian said, immediately recognizing the name. Maybe a little too fast, but that could be debatable.
"Little sister. Yes," Kimi corrected him. Sebastian frowned as he thought about the last time he had seen Kimi's little sister. The last time actually was in 2011, on Kimi's birthday party. Kimi wasn't in Formula one back then, he was actually returning in 2012. So Kimi and Seb hadn't seen each other that much in 2011, but that didn't mean Camilla and Seb hadn't seen each other. Because even though that might be what others believed, they actually met in August that year in secret. She even stayed with him for two weeks. However, he expected her to come and watch his older brother race again that next season like she usually did once in a while. But Sebastian hadn't seen her since that birthday party in 2011. It was like a short romantic movie where they both kept their relationship quiet as she was still in an actual relationship and with Kimi as her brother, Sebastian didn't saw how Kimi would ever approve of Sebastian having this kind of relationship with his sister. Knowing the way Kimi was and how protective he was about her... Sebastian remembered seeing Camilla at Kimi's birthday party and thinking that something about her had changed. In a positive way of course. Sebastian couldn't ever think of Camilla in a negative way. But what he didn't expect was for it to be the last time that they saw or spoke to each other. He now started to wonder how she was doing and why they suddenly started to stop talking to each other. Did he do something wrong? Or did Kimi find out without ever telling Sebastian about that he knew and didn't approve of it? Sebastian's eyes started to open up bigger as he looked at Kimi.
"She's finally coming to a race again." Sebastian raised his eyebrows with curiosity as he looked straight into the Finns eyes, hoping he wasn't taking the piss out of him. He coughed and tried to act normal about it.
"Really? When?" he asked as normal as he could be.
"Tomorrow... Or well, tonight actually," Kimi said with a smug smile as he watched how his teammate's eyes started to match with his smile. Kimi was a lot of things, but he wasn't blind. Of course he had seen how much Sebastian liked Camilla. At first, Kimi really had a problem with that, because no way any of his fellow drivers could ever even lay a hand on his little sister. He knows what kind of people they all are, and he rather not have them hanging out with his sister. But when Kimi had noticed that Camilla didn't have the same interest for Sebastian, or so Kimi thought, he could finally relax. However, he did feel the need to protect Sebastian and not tell him the reason why Camilla all of the sudden never wanted to come to a race. He didn't want to crush his friend's heart. Because even though Camilla always seemed to act very strange when someone starts to talk about Jonas' dad, who was obviously Vic, Kimi knew that she and Vic would somehow make things right. Sebastian couldn't even be in Camilla's thoughts.
Kimi looked at Sebastian. He still doesn't know about Jonas and tomorrow will be the day he finds out about it. Now the only question Kimi was asking himself: Should he prepare his teammate for what was going to happen tomorrow? Or shouldn't he get involved with it and see how he's going to react about seeing her? Who knows, maybe he had gotten over Camilla without Kimi noticing. Thinking about that now, Kimi really hoped that was the truth.
"Jesus... I haven't seen her in... in so long. Didn't think she would ever visit a race to be honest," Sebastian suddenly said, making Kimi's attention go back to the German guy instead of his own thoughts. Kimi shrugged at his teammate as he looked back at his phone where he had a new text message from his little sister. It was yet another text messages from Camilla where she insulted Kimi for the way he forced her to come and visit him at the race track. He grinned as he looked back at his teammate again.
"She also really hadn't got a choice to be fair. Kind of planned this visit around her and now she is forced to come." Kimi explained as he put his phone back down on the table. "That's what you get for not making time to see me."

A/N: I'm not 100% sure if it's very clear in this chapter, but as far as Kimi (or the rest of Camilla's/Kimi's family) knows, Vic is Jonas' dad. Just to avoid any confusion I wanted to mention it.
other than that I just wanted to say I really enjoyed writing this chapter and I hope you guys are enjoying this story so far (because it's going to be a looong ride)
Thanks for the comments, votes and you guys just reading this story, it honestly means a lot
