chapter Two

         I wore my uniform which was a red fled skirt and a white blouse , then a red shoe , I let my hair fall to my back then put on a light make-up .
     I walk to the bus station still thinking about my mum who's at the hospital, then I thought of going for a visit before going for work .
     After about 45minutes I got to the hospital, seen my mom on the bed lifeless made me scared of life, I sat close to her holding her hand “ mom ........... I promise you'll be fine ............I promise......... ” I was saying when my phone rang “ hello miss Andy ”
“ hello Bianca......why aren't you here yet ?”
“ am sorry ma'am ”
“ you're sorry.........  Are you serious ?” she scoffs
“ yeah I'm sorry ......... But something came up ..........so I'll  like to ask for your permission ”
“ for what ?” sarcasm
“ if I can switch to night instead of the day ”
“ sorry we have someone for night ”
“ can we  switch.......?........... Please ma'am please... ”
“ hmm .......okay ....go on ....... ”
“ really ?!” I didn't think she'll let me wow
“ hmm.....but you should not be late to work and you end night duty at 4:00 in the morning ”
“ thanks ma'am I'll never let you down ”
“ I  pray so ” with that she end the call
    I hug my mom happily “ mom it's working, I'll keep to my promise ” I peck then went home to change. I got dressed in a black jeans and a blue straps T-shirt then a black canvas. I got into the bus

Madeline turn on the bed still feeling Nick's body close to her made her smile , she open her eyes to look at him but was surprise or rather shock at the reflection of the sun “ oh my God ” she jump out of the bed
“ what ?” Nick ask standing up
“ why didn't you wake me up ........I slept for long ”“ I'm meant to be awake by 6:00and it's 8:45  already
“ I'm sorry ” he hugs her “ I just wanted to be with you .........I .......” he was short by his mother who open the door surprise to see both of them hugging “ what's going on ”
   Madeline quickly let go of Nick “ am sorry ma'am ”
“ I asked what's going on not if you're sorry ”
“ mom... Let Madeline go I'll explain ”
“ why are you in my son's room dressed in your nightwear ”“ you're to be with the others downstairs ” she ignores Nick
“ am sorry ” Madeline said bending her head
“ get out ! ” Elsa shouted
“ mom don't shout at her ! ” Nick shout angrily
“ the next time I see you close to my son you'll be fired ” Elsa said as Madeline leaves
“ mom.........” cut short
“ what's going on between the two of you ”
Nick lay on his bed ignoring his mom
“ Nick ?! ”
“  what ?” he shout then get up
“ are you okay ?!” she ask but was shock by what he did
“ please leave I need to be alone ” he says opening the door for her
“ what ?”
“ you heard me mom ”
“ fine !” she left angrily
   He went to have his bath .
  
After about 45 minutes
     Nick walk down the stairs, he was dressed in a black jeans, a white t-shirts and the slippers he had on before, he sit down on the dinning as they  serve his food, he look at Madeline but she wasn't looking at him,she serve his food then left
   “ Madeline is something going on between you and the boss ” Alison ask
“ no ! ” she answer

I got to the school then went to the vice principal office
“ good morning ma'am ”
“ good morning! ” her accent 😓 is she Italian?
“ I saw the notice board that said you guys need a cleaner and I'll liked to apply for the job”
“ what's your name please ?”
“ Bianca Simpsons ”
She look at me from my head to my toe “ you're here for the job ?”
“ yes ma'am ”
“ sorry you don't suit the job ”
  I went on my knees “ please .........ma'am...... I need the job .........I promise..... I'll do my job properly ”
“ you're too young for the job ”
“ I can do it ”
    I   was shown the area to Clean everyday which was the girls toilet, the hallway and the staffroom, I still I'm happy because I got the job “ those are the places you're to clean everyday ”
“ hmmm”
“ you start today ” she said walking away
“ okay ! ” I said signing then walk to the cleansers room then got dressed in a pink dress and a cap and start cleaning. I cleaned the girl toilet . the hallway and now am in the staff room “  good afternoon ” I greet them then start with the cleaning, I got to a table we're a young lady ,she'll be in her 20's or so she is sitting her hair was blonde and her lips as red as strawberry “ good afternoon ” I said sending a smile to her  but all she did was eye me then back to what she was doing, the smile on my face gently fade away
