Mitali still didn't reply and avni turned around to see mitali looking at her with a blank expression

Avni: mitali please say something.

Mitali looked at avni but soon a smile appeared on her face which confused avni. She walked to avni and hugged her tightly.

Mitali: im seriously lucky to have a friend like u... avni looked at mitali confusingly

Avni: r u not angry that I blamed neil for something like this...I mean u should be mad but here u  still say u r lucky to have a friend like me?

Mitali: no ... avni....avni I knew about this since a year now... avni looked at mitali shockingly

Avni:a year?... how?

Mitali: well u remember when we had to work on a project together for one of our assignments and I came over to your place as we had to finish of the assignment. At that time we took an 1 hour break and u went to have a shower while I was sitting in your room... I was going through my phone when suddenly it  got windy and the papers on your table started flying all over the place I got up to close the window and also placed the paper back when I saw that your diary on the table  was open... I didn't want to read it avni but then I saw the name neil' and that caught my attention and I started reading it... first I was thinking could this be bhai who u were talking about since he also was studying in new York but then I thought maybe it is another neil who u were talking about as at that time u didn't tell me which uni u went to as u didn't want to talk about New York at all. After that I completely forgot about this until bhai came back to india and when u guys met at the temple coldly... my memory was going back to what I read in that diary and that's how I started having doubts.... At that time I didn't know what to do... so I asked neela aunty what uni u went to in New York and when she told me I was shocked because that was the same uni bhai went to... avni I was so mad at that time... that how could u blame my brother for this and I was going to confront u but I didn't as something stopped me from doing that...I dont know what it was but trust me maybe it was that belief and that friendship I shared with u however I also knew my brother cant do any such thing at all.. I wasn't able to stay angry at u and had this hope that maybe u will tell me some day. when u and bhai had agreed to get married that day I was surprised avni after knowing your past but then I thought u both probably must have sorted everything out but I guess that was not the case.

Avni: y didn't u tell me anything that time mitali u knew all this time but u acted like u didn't know...and u r still not angry at me.

Mitali: I told u avni I couldn't stay angry at u...maybe it was the friendship that we shared...and like I said I knew my friend cant be wrong along with my brother too

Avni smiled at mitali and hugged her tightly
Avni: im seriously lucky to have a friend like u... if it was someone else they would have been mad at me... u r really sweet mitali..im lucky to have u in my life... I wanted to tell u about this before but I was scared of losing your friendship.

Mitali: everyone makes mistake avni and so did u and the big thing is u accepted it but tell me one thing who was responsible for juhi state... the smile vanished for avni face

Avni: mitali the person who was responsible for juhi state is....is raj... mitali looking confused

Mitali: who is this raj... was he someone from uni.

Avni: no. he... He... was... he was my boyfriend... mitali looked at avni with wide eyes

Mitali: WHAT!... your Boyfriend since when avni?

Avni: 5 years and now I regret it....only abhi bhai and juhi knew about us
