KAT POV 😘:
I shoot up so fast that I feel dizzy. I look at the clock and it's 2:00 am and I know that after that dream I will never be able to sleep.
Tears prick my face warm and salty, the only good part about this is that Jake is still sleeping. Unlike most girls my body doesn't betray me with loud sobs and hiccups, I sit there quietly trying to pull my self together my shoulders start to shake but still no noise.
I feel someone sit up next to me and I freeze as if I were a dear caught in headlights.
JAKE😍😍😍:
I wake up and I turn to see what all the "Bad Energy" is from. Ever since I was little other people's emotions easily affected my own no matter how loud or how quiet.
I see Kat with her knees curled to her chest and my heart breaks. I get up and make my way towards where she sits on the carpet floor she looks up and her eyes look.... they look so broken.
"Kitten come here."
She only whimpers.
I make my way toward her and instead of picking her up I lay on the floor too. I grab her, suddenly needing the urge to know that she was close. I scoop up her arms and legs and lay her on my stomach. She tries to get comfortable so she straddles me and I suddenly realize that I'm in love.
"Kitten tell me what's wrong."
"Jake I'm just a mess, I'm like a car that will never run and your wasting your time."
Despite her messy hair her voice sounded somewhat husky AKA extremely hot. " Kat I have wasted so many years and to be goddamn honest with myself this is the only thing that I'm not wasting."
She pushes herself off of me and I frown a little. Then she moves closer oh god what the actual HELL is happening to me.
"Thank you Jake for putting up with me. If I were you I'd be pissed at me for waking you up."
I chuckle and say,"Kitten I couldn't be mad at you let's try to get some sleep so we can go to that HELL HOLE called school."
She giggles and it surprises me because KAT never ever in a billion damn years would giggle. We get in bed and hop under the covers, but right before we go to bed she turns around and kisses me right on the lips. DAMN I know it was only a peck but it made me want more and god knows I have never truly wanted something so bad till now.
