1.

Taylor Hoffman, the girl with the wavy dirty blonde hair and green eyes, sits on the bench by the fountain at Wintergreen International Boarding School in Kent, which isn't so far away from where the 16 year old's mum, sister, brother, and dad live.

She puts in her earbuds and puts the Songs About Jane album on shuffle, and This Love comes on first.

"I was so high I did not recognize,

The fire burning in her eyes,

The chaos that controlled my mind...

Whispered goodbye,

She got on the plane,

Never to return again,

But always in my heart...

Oh!

This. Love. Has. Taken its toll on me,

She said goodbye,

Too many times before...

And her. Heart. Is. Breaking in front of me,

And I have no-"

"Hi there." A tall boy my age says and Taylor jumps back a bit and pauses the Maroon 5.

"What'cha listening to?" He asks, sitting down, and he has brown curly hair and green eyes.

"S-Songs About Jane." Taylor stutters, avoiding eye contact.

"Oh. I hear that's a good album."

"It...it is."

"Is it your favorite?"

"Um...yeah."

"My name's Harry."

"T-Taylor."

"Styles."

"Hoffman."

"Where are you from?"

"London."

"That's pretty cool. I come from Holmes Chapel and I work in a bakery."

"I worked in a pizza place."

"Worked?"

"Quit when I came here. You still have your job?"

"Well, it's just for summer. Family?"

"A sister named Marie and a brother named Edward and my two parents."

"I've got a sister named Gemma and my mum and dad divorced when I was small, but my mum's getting remarried soon."

Taylor decides to look up at Harry, since she's never had a very good look at him. She just knows he's tall and has curly brown hair and green eyes.

She looks at him and studies him. He's looking at the ground, smiling, as he plays with his fingers. He's probably thinking of his mum and soon to be stepdad. He has a lovely smile, dimples and everything. His hands are huge, much bigger than her's, and he then looks towards her and sees her staring at him and laughs a bit.

To be honest, Harry thinks this girl is the cutest thing. He thinks she's just lovely...so quiet and shy. And the way she looks at him...he just loves it.

"Sorry...never got a good look at you." She mumbles and goes back to looking at the ground.

"No, no, it's okay."

"Tell me about yourself...I want to know about you. You seem nice."

"Well...my name's Harry Styles, and Im 16 years old. I have some friends that go here, and I'd like to consider you one of them. I guess I'd describe myself as...well...I don't really know what to describe myself as. I've never really described myself. I don't really like to...maybe because I never know. I really like tea and the fact that we get to go away for the weekend. I've been told I talk really slow. I hate hate hate hate HATE how we have to wear ties for uniforms, so I make bow ties instead, and I'm constantly getting in trouble for that. I never get in any other throuble, though. I think you're a really nice girl, if you want to know what I'm thinking right now. Tell me about yourself now?"

"Sure...um...my name's Taylor Hoffman and I live approximately an hour or two away from here. My two siblings are adopted, but they don't know, and they get treated so specially it just hurts. You don't treat me like that and I like it. It's nice of you. I'd describe myself as shy and naïve, because I know I'm really shy and I've been told I'm naïve. I hate meeting new people. I'm scared of them. But I'm not scared of you. You're so nice to me...I could just kiss you, you're so nice. Nobody's ever been so nice to me like this. You're really special, Harry. I don't have friends back home...so I've never had a boyfriend. They all used to push me around, so I came here. And I met you. And I'd like to thank you. That's what I'm thinking about right now." Taylor says and slowly meets his gaze, and Harry is looking at her the same way she looked at him.

"So you're telling me a lovely girl like you has never had a friend, is mistreated at home, and came here to escape it all? I don't believe it...I really don't."

"You're just the nicest thing. I seriously just can't get over it."

"My friend Liam's real nice. I think you'd like him."

"You think I would?"

"I think you would."

"Harry, have you ever listened to Songs About Jane?"

"No. I'm a Songs About Jane virgin."

"Well, I guess I'll be taking your virginity in a way. Here you go. Put in a bud." Taylor says, handing him an earbud that he puts in his ear and Taylor takes the other one and they listen to the album together.

--

"Oh my god. How much is that album. I'm getting a copy." He says after he and Taylor finish the album and she laughs at him.

"She Will Be Loved's my favorite of all time." She replies.

"I like Harder To Breathe a lot."

"Me too. I also like Sunday Morning."

"I like that one, too. On another note, have you gotten settled in your dorm yet? You have one other girl with you. Did you meet her?"

"I've gotten settled and thankfully she wasn't there."

"Why don't we go and meet her?"

Taylor just shakes her head, but Harry pulls her off the bench and she has no choice but to follow her new friend...

AN:

Hi! It's Dannie (Daniellesusername) here!

I'll be writing all the odd numbered chapters.

And who else is a Haylor shipper?

(As in Taylor in the story...this is what happens when you run out of names and use your favorite celebrity for a name...oh well you get my point, right?)

Awh. They're just too cute.
