Hey guys sorry that I haven't updated this story in a few weeks. I finally started college today online. I thought I would update this to celebrate that. So enjoy this chapter. Also thanks for the view, votes and comments!! I enjoy getting the notifications.
In the morning we got up, I grabbed our bathroom bag and my bag. I asked Luther if their showers work. He grabs a torch and tells us to follow him. We walked into the shower room.
"We still have running water."
"That's very civilized."
"We do our best." Luther says and turns on the water.
Alice touches it and smiles, "It's cold."
"Our best only goes so far." He hands us towels. "These are for you."
"Thank you." I take them
"I'll be right outside."
"Thanks."
Luther leaves and I set the towels on the bench along with the bags. I sit down and open my bag, grabbing a blood bag out.
"You go first." I tell her, smirking.
"Okay." Alice leans down for a kiss and I give her one. I bit into the bag as Alice takes her holsters for her shotguns and sword off. She takes her thigh ones off next. I finish my bag and set it down. Alice starts to take her best off but I stop her when I hear a heart beat just as the tiles move.
"Luther?" Alice asks.
"Luther?"
No answer and Alice pulls her gun out. I sneak over to where the heart beat is and grab Wendall, slamming him into the wall.
He groans in pain, "Take it easy, honey." I hiss at him and push him away. "Okay. I'm just gonna be on my way now. Wendall looks behind me and I turn to see a zombie with tentacles. Alice shoots it and I pull my gun out shooting another one. I turned and see Wendall being dragged into a hole. We turned the water off and I closed my bag.
Luther runs in, "What happened?"
"Get the others." I tell him and he leaves.
Alice pits her holsters back on as we wait. When everyone arrives we show them the hole. Angel and Claire crouched by the hole and looks inside with a flashlight.
"What is that smell?" Bennett asks.
"Must have burrowed up from the sewers." I tell them.
"Wendall said he heard things moving behind the walls." Luther says.
"What? So these things can just burst out anywhere?" Bennett asks.
"We gotta get out of the place."
"Arcadia will send help." Crystal says.
"No one's coming to get us. Okay? No one. We have to help ourselves. Now this plane you have."
"Won't hold everybody."
"We'll we can draw straws." Kim suggests.
"No. We all get out of here and no one gets left behind." I say looking at Bennett.
"Great. How are we gonna do that? Walk out of here, just single file?"
Alice and I look at Luther.
"No."
"Yes, it's the only way." Alice says.
We all walked to the cage that held Chris.
"Are you crazy?"
