Hello everyone! This chapter is another short one, but the next chapter should be longer. I have already planned out what's going to happen and I think you all will love it. Until then, enjoy this little chapter.

The next few weeks passed in a blur. Rowan and Corbin started to spend a lot of time together. On weekdays, Rowan would go to her internship from 9 am to 1 pm, then she would do something with Corbin, and then she would finally go home to write before she restarted the whole process. Rowan's dates with the adoring Corbin would range from going to a fancy place to eat, to something as chill as hanging around at his apartment. Rowan started to feel as if time flew by like a snap of the fingers.

Corbin was, surprisingly, a hopeless romantic. One time, he took Rowan to the fair for the sole purpose of the Ferris wheel.

*FLASHBACK*

"When we get there, we are going to go straight to the Ferris wheel," Corbin told her in the car to the Seattle Summer Fair.

"Why? Is it your favorite?" Rowan loved to discover new things about Corin. It was as if his casual life was a telenovela for Rowan. She just could not get enough of him. His dark curls and his skinny, non-muscular body and the dark clothing that always covered it. Today, in particular, he was wearing a white button-up shirt with the sleeves pushed up to his elbows. A silver chain was interloped into his black jeans that had rips in the knees.

"No, not necessarily," he said in his deep voice, but it was perfect and smooth, "But it's iconic. Kissing at the top of the Ferris wheel. Summer love"

*FLASHBACK OVER*

Rowan's personal favorite date so far was when they went up to Seattle for the first time. They had spent the entire day in different book shops. That was one of the few things they had in common. Their love for books, and their love for each other.

Now our story shall come back to the present, where we have our couple in Corbin's apartment. His dark apartment. It matched his clothing. The walls were black and the floors were tile that was a slightly lighter shade than the walls. All of his furniture was dark grey except for one leather couch which was white. There were pictures of white skeletons hanging on the wall as well as a picture from 3 weeks after they had met. Yesterday had marked the official third week of them knowing and loving one another.

Today was one of their more casual 'dates'. Tonight they were to watch the original Halloween movie. Rowan walked into the living room with a bowl of buttered popcorn.

"So, I was thinking," Corbin said, smirking.

"Hm, that's dangerous" Rowan joked as she placed the bowl on a back wooden coffee table.

"What do you think about being my girlfriend? Like officially."

"I think that's something I would like" she answered trying to withhold her excitement. Little did Rowan know, this was a very bad decision, but that will come later in the story.

"Would you now?" he asked, laughing his perfect, throaty laugh, "Well then, shall we plan a date for us as boyfriend and girlfriend?"

"We could go out and see a movie?"

"That sounds perfect. What's tomorrow? A Saturday right? So you shouldn't have work, correct?"

"Yeah, no work tomorrow" Rowan informed him.

"Alright. Tomorrow night would you like to meet at the theater to see a movie and then have dinner after?"

"I would love that. What time" She smiles widely.

"Hmmm maybe 6"

"Ok, movies tomorrow night at 6. Got it." she recited.

The rest of their night was normal, just a typical night in. We are not going to dwell too much on that part of this story because it isn't quite important. Now, this upcoming event is where things start to get interesting.....
