The Ninja in Jasper

Naru POV:

I was doing my katas in my training room to keep my skills sharp. I don't want to let my skills get rusty when they might come in handy later into the future. As I was finishing the last of the katas, I heard a horn honking not far from my hidden home. The only person that truly knows where my home is located is Optimus. He comes here from time to time to spar with me or just to sit and relax away from all the stress of the war. Anyway, I teleported out of my cave and hid myself from the view of whoever might be near my home. I looked around and saw that it was just Bulkhead, Bumblebee, and the kids were looking for me. I had an ingenious idea.  With a fox-like grin, I stalked up to them silently and waited for the perfect opportunity.

"Are you sure that she lives around here?" asked Jack.

"Yeah, I don't see her," Raf agreed.   

"I'm sure that she is here," Bulkhead said, "I mean, she had to be if she was able to come when we fought the Decepticons here."  

"THEN WHERE IS SHE?!" shouted Miko. She was impatient and wanted to get to the base.

"Right behind you," I said. I laughed as all of them jumped two feet into the air. Bulkhead and Bumblebee aimed their weapons at me but immediately deactivated them after they saw that it was just me. 

"DON'T DO THAT?!" Miko shouted again. Everyone nodded agreeing with her.

"Sorry, I just couldn't help it," I said, " Besides, my sensei had done the same thing to me and my team." 

I remembered Kakashi-nii san did it a lot to us to get us ready for the world. You couldn't let your guard down at any time, even if your own home. Though we learned that we didn't need it all the time, it was still a good lesson to learn. 

"Anyway, why are you guys here? Usually, Optimus comes to get me," I asked. 

"We were sent to get everyone," Bulk said.

"All right, well let's go," I said. I started to stretch.

"UM, what are you doing?" Raf asked. 

"Well, I'm going to run to the base," I said, " I was training before you got here, and I wasn't done with all of my training."  

"But it will take you forever to get to the base," Jack said. 

"How about a little race?" I asked, " If you win, then I will do anything you want, however, if I win, then you will cook me whatever I want."

"Deal," Miko said. Jack and Raf looked a little worried. We got into position for the race. Once we started, I held back to get their hopes up that they were going to win, but as soon as the base came into view, I used my top speed and became a cloud of dust that easily passed everyone. I was proud of myself. I walked in the base and immediately went to find Optimus. It wasn't long before I found him. I waved to him and teleported onto his shoulder. I liked being up in high places, like the Hokage Monument, because it gives me a sense of security, and being with Optimus is just extra. I noticed that Arcee and he were getting ready for a mission. I was about to ask him where he and Arcee are going until I heard the sound of engines coming. I smirked when I saw the kids and the two bots.
