The Moon's Duty

The Moon is just like me,
Gaety and bright.
But it's a fact,
It also has a dark side.

I saw a cottony cloud,
Passing by it.
The same cloud, dark when afar,
Was eventually lit.

The Moon reflects me,
Has a lot of defects.
But something close to it,
Can see its effect.
The clouds near it,
Get lit and bright.
But the clouds afar,
Suffer from the scary night.

The moon looks like,
A stone engraved,
In the plate of night.
Like GOD worked on it,
With all his might.

The dark blue sky,
The color appears royal.
I wanna dig the sky,
With my 'mind' named shovel.

There are many flowers,
The night gets overpowered,
With the vibrant beauty,
To brighten them,
Is Moon's duty.

My friends and family,
Are those flowers.
I wanna be the moon,
To give them power.

I got my breath hitched,
As I took in the night's appearance.
By my heart, I got ditched,
As I appreciated it.

I can keep looking at it,
Sitting here, all the night,
Making stars my blanket,
Clutching them close, tight.
The Moon's color, pale and white,
It's duty, to make the world bright.

Even though it just reflects,
It helps people in the dark.
But as the sun takes over,
Long forgotten is,
Moon's every mark.

Still people love the Moon more,
'Cause the sun burns.
As as the time runs,
Then it's Moon's turn,
To embrace us during hard times,
To others, it reflects,
To me, it shines.

Random Thought
I stared at the moon at night,
It looked beautiful.
In a short time, I was sitting on it,
As it showed me the world.
It's all about imagination and feelings.
