When life took a toll,
I was left with a broken soul.
With no one who could fix it,
And no one I could mix with.
My mind was a shattered mess,
No one there to caress.
My heart speaking though eyes,
Telling how it daily dies.
That noone could hear its cries,
Leaving no reason to be nice,
Eyes as cold as ice.
The same eyes never got the one,
Who could see through them.
Who could see the buried emotions,
Always used to condemn.
I slowly started drowning deep,
In emotionlessness.
I tried to show I don't care,
Even if I couldn't care less.
Trying controlling my crying,
Eyes tightly pressed.
My broken soul never found the one,
From it could get blessed.
