Chapter Eighteen

Mark

It ends like that, Title told me to continue my life again like I've used to. I still don't understand why I'm doing this to myself. I am ready resent him forever and act like as the biggest snob. I will always rub to Gun's face how much he ruin me, he ruin the whole me just because he hurt me a years ago. But the clownery, I cant just stay like that. I know even though I am dating Mint, I know I didn't forget him. I try to divert all my love and change it to hatred. But whenever I saw his face I wanted to crawl back to him.

That's why I keep pointing him that he is flirting Mint to have an excuse to hate him. But I just knew lately that Mint used it also an excuse to investigate Gun. I know she did that to humiliate Gun. My patience to Mint is now over.

I just sigh when I saw her running towards to me. She look messed and out of herself. Every students who passes us by looking at us. She cling to me and almost plead on me.

"Get on your knees" I try to console my patience that almost in brink to push her away from me.

"Mark, I am sorry I did that" she said while crying. I just rolled my eyes.

"Your sorry wont fix anything" I push her hands away from me. I glared at her.

"Stop doing this show, here in front of them" I pertain to all the students watching us like we are in the tv series.

"Are you ashamed? Finally you felt ashamed yet you didn't realize what would I feel when you are cheating behind me" acting like she was the biggest victim here. I'm totally lost my words to her.

I snatched her left arm and dragged her with me outside the campus. She so scandalous and even make herself pathetic.

"You just cant do this?" she pushed my hand away.

"Mint, please stop this. Even you keep doing this I will never coming back to you" she bit now calm down. Bowing her head. She look apologetic to me.

"Mark I do love you so much, I just cant understand whats wrong with me? Or am I not just enough?" I shake my head to my disagree.

"No I'm sorry for making you like this, for lying to you and for using you"

"Fine Mark. To be honest, you are a good boyfriend but I can sense it also. You don't really me as I love you. But I just shake it off and trying lure myself that I was just thinking so much"

I smile bitterly at her. What did I have done to this girl?

We are cut off when her phone rings on her pocket. She picked it up. She was startled so I was curious what is happening.

"Why didn't you tell me that you are coming home?" I look at her with my confusion face. She dropped the call and saw her scratching her nape.

"Ah? That was my younger brother that I tell you before" I nodded as I remember that she once told me about his younger brother who been send abroad. "He came back without telling me" she added.

We were about to separate our ways. When some guy actually runs to her then hugged her. I look at them when that guy jerked back at me. My eyes almost went out, this cant be.. I know who he is.

He just smirked at me. "So you are the Mark that my sister told to me"

Gun

I was bored and wanting to go home. Of all the places that Earth will bring me. Is none other than bar. Probably a gay bar.

I keep seeing two guys making out and each corner of this place. I was just sitting here with Earth who are now become mess. He is drunk right away after of five shots. Well I guess I will look after him cause now he is wasted.

"Kao is my type but what should I do with Title he is hitting on me too" I rolled my eyes on him. I bottoms up the drink without minding the taste of it.

"You know you are just drunk" I tapped his back and trying to sway him to go home already. "Lets just go home you wouldn't make it already" instead listening on me he was just shaking his head.

"No Gun, by the way.. I forgot to mention. My friend just came back today and he is going tonight here. Let just wait for him"

"What?" I cant believe him.

"I'm sorry Gun I really forgot"

So okay? How can he managed to entertain his friend with his look today. He is goddamn wasted already. How can he talk to his friend. But the question is..

"Who was that your friend?" he just literally passed out. I'm about to wake him up when my phone on my pocket vibrated.

I checked the calling id and it was my mom. Before I accept the call I tap Earth's shoulder and let him rest a bit in the couch where we are seated. "Ill be back"

I cant hear mom if I stay here while talking to my mom in the line. I accept the call while struggling to get out and make myself way to the crowd. Not until I bump to someone and my phone flew away from my hand.

"I'm sorry" he bowed his head immediately and he was aware that my phone was threw away from my hand he helped me to find it. It was hard to look and searched at the floor because the lights here are dimmed. I cant clearly see the floor.

"Oh I found it" when I heard that I fix myself and stand up. I look to the guy who I bump with. He apologetic smiled at me.

He had those cute teeth and even it was dimmed here I can clearly say that he had a fine smile tho.

I just smiled back at him. "Its okay" I checked my phone and it still working.

"Win???!! Come on over here!!" he look to direction where his friends are calling him.

He jerked back at me and again he smiled before he stormed off in front of me.

I go back to my business and called my mom again.

She just check on me up and like I was always saying at her. That I'm doing fine, which is barely not. I know Mom were tired hearing those from me but I cant just spill everything on her she might come over to my place bringing his worrying face.

I came back inside of the bar. I go back to the place where I left Earth. I just get startled when I realize who is Earth talking too. I came forward to confirm my hunch. I was not mistaken.

"Oh Gun?? Where have you been and why did you left me here huh?" I pointing the guy he is with.

"You know him?" he asked me with his excited face. The guy stood up with his bright smile.

"Its been a long time right?" he offered his hand as a gesture to a handshake. "You still look same" he added.

"Perth?"

"You still remember me" then he pulled me for a hug. I look at Earth who was now confused at us.

"Well I guess you know each other" Earth commented then he bottoms up another glass of drink.

Perth was smiling at me. I smile back at him even though it was kinda awkward for me.

"You have to tell me how did you guys met, spill the tea" he whisper at me, Perth were looking at me while drinking his glass.
