Marridan Kingdom, 10:21 am, Present Time

“Granola Bars coming right up, it’s 15 Golden Leaves! High class chocolate specie! Weeeeeehhhh!” Rina’s usual gingerly voice can be heard with her jovial accent. She hands me a plastic bag with the Granola Bars I bought. “Hmmmmmmm. I really love these, and I miss eating these.” I subconsciously told myself as my eyes sparkle under my hoodie.

“Watch out for cavities Aeris.” Rina says. Though my cloak is still on, I can sense her suspicious aura that will snap and eat my being bits by bits, and will blast a fire on my back that’ll send me running towards my crib this instant.

“H-h-how…..W-wait…W-w-w-w-w-wh-what?” I severely stuttered. Holly marshmallow, every time I’m caught in a dead end the stuttering syndrome will just resurface. My forehead’s sweating already, little droplets of water cascaded down my face, slightly soaking my cloak. I simply rubbed my crying hands on my sweat pants.

“Oh if your temper-boiling father, caught his lovely daughter enact her lovely escapade from the palace again, he will bring our stall to flames if we’ll never consult him that you’re here.” I took a slight peek from my hood to see Rina clearly. Rina grinned, but her eyes are not smiling. “And if he also knew, matter of fact, that his daughter is wearing trousers and Greek sandals for disguises, he’ll surely never be amused.” She scowled, and reached to remove my hoodie to reveal my face, but I softly slapped her hand.

“Please Rina, let me get out from the palace just or this time. The least I can do there is to be sprouted with mushrooms and marshes.” I pleaded while nodding to her multiple times. “I can give some of my refreshing air in your bottle for free!” I bubbly smiled to her, trying to be cuter as I can.

“You have three seconds to run, or else Daddy-blast…” Wow, how can that be so funny?

As I’m already positioning for a running stance, Rina halted me again. “One more thing Aeris, I may not know why you want to madly get out the palace for many times, but the reasons for your escape can harm a life or two. Your father may be temperamental, and has abysmal mood swings when it comes to you. But you’re all that he had, and he cares, he loves you. Yes, you’re a mage and can defend yourself, but who knows what other awful mages can do to perish you.” For the last time, she smiled sweetly. Rina has been the greatest sister, adviser, and best friend of all times. We’re not blood related, but our mind and heart waves match.

She cupped my cheek. “Now go, don’t slack off.”

“Thanks Rina, you’re the coolest, bestest.” I beamed and hugged her then made my way to Fallon Rab.
