|P A S S I O N|

I still couldn't sleep. I was walking aimlessly around my room running my hands through my hair for the millionth time today. The wind was making whistling sounds through the window and I groaned sitting down on my plush bed.

When my parents broke the news to me that I was going to a school for delinquents, I had taken it lightly but it just struck me by midnight that a girl as frail as me would be going to a school filled with criminals. I would prefer community service for the rest of my life than to spend the rest of my school year in a mini prison yard.

Fudge nut.

I was sure that there would be many people who would be twice or thrice my size with my height like that of a nine year old. I am five foot no shit sheerlocks.

Five am on the dot, my alarm rung, I was awake already so I just angrily switched it off as I walked over to to the door of my massive bathroom. I stood at the door looking at the cons of going over to the school. I couldn't even be sure and say that I'd make it till the next day because my heart was hammering against my ribcage and my fidgety fingers explained all that was going to happen to me.

I was going to die

"I would be fine" I mustered up the little courage in me and went into the bathroom. I sighed when I entered the warm water tub and continuously rubbed my sleep deprived face with my small hands. The water dripping into the tub was enough to calm my erratic heart and I washed myself properly before picking a white small towel and wrapping it around my body.

I got out of the bathroom and dressed up in a pastel coloured crop top with denim short. I threw the slightly wet towel on the floor and picked up my phone from the bed. I stared at my reflection from the screen of my phone, I had purple bags under my puffy eyes but I shrugged it off and inhaled air once more and stepped out of the room.

"Ayla, you're always late, can't you just make today an exception" my mum walked towards me with a frown on her face. Her heels tapping the floor in harmony. She placed her lips together trying to put on her lipstick. I stared at her nude heel and her shirt that was tucked in the straight skirt she was wearing. "Your dad is waiting for you" she placed her bags in the hand of the maid that passed by and walked back down the stairs fixing her earrings. I wondered why she couldn't do all that in her room. She looked back at me sending me a small frown and I just lowered my head.

She was not proud of me in fact she didn't consider me as her daughter anymore. I had broken down her trust for me into pieces since the day the she spoke with the police. She was disappointed in me, her trust in me that was almost a hundred had crashed down to a zero and I felt like a stranger in my own home.

I regretted heeding to peer pressure and I groaned at the thought of what happened that night. The nightmares had hunted me that I was now scared of fire that seeing it alone brought all the bad memories back.

I shook my head to disregard my thoughts as I struggled with the one small bag I was carrying. I didn't need clothes because the school had uniforms as I've heard so I just carried my toiletries and other thing that I realized that I would need.

"Would you hurry up, I have a meeting with the Ceo of Kings and Queens" My dad snarled from outside pressing the horn of the car. I've never been fond of my dad because he is never around. Going out for business trips without notice, spending most of his hours at work and even at free time wasting his hours in one of his many bars with many other women that my mum knew of but didn't mind. So seeing him today was shocking.

"I'm sorry" I whispered as I walked inside the car the seat groaning in reply. My mum was at the front seat already staring solely at the scenery that she had never paid attention to before sighing every five seconds. I knew that this car ride wasn't going to be one that I wished for. I was fiddling with my fingers when my dad broke the silence.
