Hi, sorry I've been gone so long. I've just been caught up with a bunch of online learning and yeah, sorry for slacking! I'm back though, and I'm going to start to continue writing again, stay safe!
I hope you enjoy this :).

Last time (recap because it's been really long sorry):
"What do you want from me?" She shouted, right in front of their faces.
Lady Gisela smirked.
"You."
"To do what?" Sophie screamed, making her head throb.
"Come with us."
"Under what conditions?"
"I'll let Keefe free. Forever. And let everybody here go. Never bother them again."
Sophie sighed. She'd already made up her mind.
The look on Sophie's face must've given her choice away. Fitz screamed to not go. So did Biana.
Lady Gisela flashed whatever was called her "geniune" smile. She shoved Biana and Fitz onto the ground, and her eyes narrowed at Sophie.
"Good choice."
Then she held her crystal up high in the sky, and then disappeared.
Chapter 8 (A Way):
As Lady Gisela and the rest of the Neverseen left, her body felt as if a million knives cut through her, from all the screaming. She could hear the ringing in her ear as Sandor, Fitz, Biana, and almost everybody else was screaming in her ear, asking what she had done.
"What have you done Sophie!"Fitz screamed as a tear slid down his cheek.
Shortly after Sophie hailed Livvy, she got everybody and sent them to one of their hideouts. When the cowards, who had slowly, and cowardly backed off while the fight took place, demanded that the Healing Center and Foxfire be securely locked down, after what had happened in the Healing Center with Keefe, Elwin, and Ro. They were now investigating how they got in Foxfire unnoticed.
Tam and Wylie were both unconcious when they were found. Linh rushed over to Tam and Wylie after the Neverseen had left, occasionally making some water droplets drip down onto their skin to cool them down. Marella had helped Dex and the rest of the bodyguards. Stina had went to help Biana and Fitz. And Keefe.
His limp body laid sprawled along the pavement of Atlantis. Sophie rushed towards Keefe, Ro, and Elwin, where Livvy was rapidly giving them different sedatives and different types of liquid in tiny bottles. Sophie wanted to hug Keefe so bad, but his fragile body looked like it might break when she hugged him.
A tiny tear slid from her eyes again, but she wiped them away.
"So-"
She turned around, and saw Fitz breathing heavily on the ground, and so was Biana. Livvy had already given her a sedative because she was too weak to even stand. Fitz had a few scratches there and here, but not too bad. Once Livvy was done with healing Elwin, Ro, and Keefe, who were transported to a nearby center, she was called over by Sophie to give him a sedative.
When Fitz heard that, he squealed, but was too emotionally and physically tired to scream. Sophie smiled, and right after that, she just said, "Thanks for everything, and tell all the others we'll meet again someday."
Fitz P.O.V:
Fitz felt the sweet liquid trickle down his throat, and he refused to swallow at first, because he knew that this might be the last time he would ever see her. But, when Sophie told him to swallow, he did.
He tried to scream, but the darkness already took over.
Sophie P.O.V:
After Fitz was sedated, she stood up, her balance slightly wonky. She went over to check on Wylie and Tam, and Mr. Forkle too. Sandor and all the other bodyguards were sedated. Linh was too, because she was so worried for Tam, and they sedated her. The next thing she did, though, was go to Dex. Her best friend.
Dex cried as Sophie put an arm around her. Later, Stina and Marella, eventually joined too. They were all a mess.
"Please take care of my family. And Iggy too. And yourselves please. Check on everybody affected, everyday after school. Don't slack off on homework, either," she giggled, but was very clearly fake.
"How can you still joke about this, Sophie. Listen, you're leavi-" Dex whispered.
"Shhh, it's going to be fine." Sophie whispered.
"Oh yeah, can you guys bring my clothes and belongings here? I have no time. Please."
She looked up and thought about it. She didn't want to let Edaline and Grady know that she was leaving. Just imagining the sleepless days they would have to go through if they knew that she was going, away. She would have to come up with an excuse.
But it was for good. For protecting her friends, and family. The world.
"Tell Edaline and Grady that the mission was successful and tell them I love them too. And then grab my things, and say I'll be over at Everglen for a sleepover. Don't let Alden or anybody tell my parents that I'm leaving with the Neverseen. Please. I'll find a way to come back, don't worry." She reassured, noticing the cries and sniffles and sounds that her friends made.
There must be a way.
Sorry this chapter is long and more emotional and doesn't really have much to do with stuff, it's just a chapter where emotion stuffs happen. Next chapter, I promise, will have more action :). Again, thank you for reading, I love you guys :).
