Chapter Two

Time Skipped~

(Kizuko P.O.V> Age 14, Zero> Age 14, Yuki> Age 13, Kanami> Age 11)

5 Months Later~

I grabbed my coat and put it on. I also put on my winter boots and scarf. It was still pretty cold outside, so I didn't want to freeze to death.

"Where are you going?" I hear someone asked. I look over my shoulder and it was Zero.

"I'm picking up Kanami from school." I answered. I grabbed my bag and was ready to leave, but I stopped.

"Do you want to come?" I asked. Zero stares at me blankly.

"No, it's too cold." He answered. I showed a small smile.

"Oh come on," I said, "Some fresh air would do yourself some good." Zero only stands there.

"Besides, I bet Kanami would be happy to see you picking her up from school with me." I stated. Zero sighed deeply.

"Fine." He stated as he looks away. I giggled at his attitude.

Outside~

Zero and I walked down the snowy path, heading towards Kanami's elementary school.

"Isn't this nice?" I asked him as I enjoyed the breeze.

"I'm freezing..." Zero answers blankly and I sighed.

"You're such a party pooper," I stated, "You need to embrace things ya know." Zero remained silent as we walked.

Awhile later, after walking through town, we finally made it to a building which was the elementary. It wasn't so big, but it's a nice and educational environment and Kanami loves it.

"Where is everyone?" Zero asked and I shrugged.

Zero P.O.V~ Age 14

"Where is everyone?" I asked curiously. I see Kizuko shrugged her shoulders.

"Still inside, we're probably early." She answered. I sighed deeply and we patiently wait.

We remain silent as the cold breeze blew passed us. Kizuko's purple hair light blew against the wind and she gasped.

"It's getting so windy." She said, giggling. I stare at her as she shows her famous smile that I always admire.

A thought came to mind...I looked at her. Kizuko suddenly looks at me and I looked away, blushing.

"Something you wanted to ask?" She asks me curiously.

"No..." I answered and she just shrugs her shoulders.

We then hear bells ringing from the building. Children were coming out the school. Some were running out, others walked away in a group, chatting.

One particular girl comes out. She has long brown hair with dark brown eyes. She wears a light brown coat that's clearly too big for her with boots to match.

"Kanami!" Kizuko shouts for her. She looks over to us.

Her face lightens up and she runs towards us. She then hugs Kizuko tightly and giggled.

"Onee-chan!" She shouts excitedly. Kizuko pats her head.

"Had fun at school?" She asked and Kanami nodded. She looks over to me and smiled.
