The Memories (Vampire Knight FanFic)

Chapter Three

(Kizuko P.O.V>Age 14, Zero>Age 14, Yuki>Age 13, Kanami> Age 11)

I was in the kitchen cooking dinner. I look over and see Zero and Kanami helping.

They were sitting on chairs, peeling carrots and potatoes. Kanami puts some shreds of carrots on Zero's head.

He looked rather annoyed, but ignores it, making Kanami giggled happily.

I see Yuki in the dining room, setting up the table with plates and utensils.

Dad comes in his pajamas with his new dinosaurs slippers. I groaned, feeling embarrassed as I hear Kanami laughs.

"Daddy, you look so silly." She stated while dad chuckled and Zero is even more annoyed.

"Oh don't mind me," he says happily, "Just getting my drink." He goes into the fridge and takes out a mug.

"Would it kill you to help?" I asked in a monotone. He frowns at me.

"Come on sweetie," he whines, "I'm feeling tired. I have so much work on my table."

"And yet when dinner's ready," I said, "You're the first in the dining room."

"Why must you be so mean to your daddy?" He asked sadly.

"I'm not mean to daddy." Kanami stated cutely. He comes over to her and pinches her cheeks.

"You're just too cute!" Dad says with his mushy tone. Zero then stands up.

"I'm going in the living room." He stated. I then lowered the temperature of the stove.

"Right behind you." I said. Zero and I walked away and into the living room.

He and I sit down on the couch in front of the campfire. I found a book on the coffee table, so I picked it up and start to read. I notice Yuki walking in the living room.

"I fixed the table for dinner." She stated and I smiled.

"Thank you Yuki." I said. She walks over and sits between Zero and I.

"Oh, Zero there's something I wanted to ask." Yuki says.

"What?" He asked without looking at her.

"Well, how did you know Kizuko?" She asked. Zero and I looked at her.

"Why you want to know that?" Zero asked.

"Well, Kizuko mention you guys met a long time ago," Yuki answers, "I was just curious." Zero remains silent.

"I don't mind telling you." I stated. Yuki looks over to me and smiled.

"Really?" She asked and I nodded.

"Yes, I suppose it's about time I told this story to someone." I answered.

Flashback~

(Kizuko P.O.V>Age 9, Zero>Age 9, Ichiru>Age 9)

I sat in the car with my Mom and Dad as we drove the bumpy and snowy path.

I looked out the window and see the bright sun shining through the clear snowy day.

Dad was driving while Mom's in the passenger seat, talking about her friends that we're going to visit.

Mom turns to me with an instant camera and smiles.

"Say cheese!" She shouts. She pressed the button and it flashes, blinding me.

I was rubbing my eyes as Mom laughs. The picture slips out from the camera.

"Oh! Kizuko! You're just too adorable!" Mom squeals. Dad then laughs.
