"Sutton," he said slowly, rising from the bed, "how are you?" I didn't answer him, I just stood there in utter disbelief, I was here, looking at Dalton.
"I'm good," I finally found some words, "you?"
"I miss you." he answered while tears filled his eyed and he came up to kiss me. I put my hand up to stop him.
"Dalton, I have a boyfriend." I dropped that bomb as his face fell. I've been going out with Parker for over a year now, he was sweet, funny, sensible, everything Dalton wasn't.
"I hope he treats you better then I did." he answered softly while looking at the floor. I didn't say anything after that, Dalton was clearly heartbroken.
The door swung open and Cole entered, "What's going on here?" he questioned looking at us, Dalton's eyes were overflowing and I was expressionless.
"Nothing," I answered, "just saying hi to each other, it's been over a year and a half since we last saw one another."
Cole looked from me to Dalton who just nodded, "I know its been." Cole sighed before leaving us two alone again.
"I'm just really sorry, Sutton, I never wanted you to leave me." Dalton started to speak again as he slowly rose and moved towards me.
"Then you shouldn't have let me then." I spoke, he walked out on me, and I couldn't take him and our relationship any longer, the lies, the secrets, nothing, I was finished.
"Why the fuck would you say that to me?" He yelled, obviously more upset now, "I couldn't help you left!"
I backed away from him slightly, I never liked him in this state, "You left me first, I was done after that, I couldn't take you any longer! I sat in the middle of the living crying for an hour, what did you want me to do, you asshole?" I yelled at him. He came closer, that look in his eyes, I backed up all the way to the door as he stood over me fuming.
"I still love you, I just want you to know that." He told me before bending over and placing his lips on mine. I missed the warm feeling of his lips with the nip of cold from his lip ring, I immediately started to kiss him back.
I slowly opened my eyes to see light pouring through the window, I wasn't in my room either. I slowly sat up and saw the state of the room, there were clothes every where. I peered over to see the person laying next to me.
"Mother fuck." I whispered as I started to put my clothes back on. I slowly crept out of the room, leaving Dalton in the bed.
I walked down the stairs to see a smug looking Jessica.
"What the hell do you want?" I asked her grumply, I'm not happy about the mistake I made last night.
"Excuse me, you're in my house, you better be fucking nice to me." She joked before continuing, "You two sounded like you were having a little too much fun." She smirked.
"I can't believe we did it, I have a boyfriend.." I sighed, Parker was going to fucking kill Dalton if he ever found out I fucked Dalton. Parker was the first person I met on campus, he quickly became my best friend. He listened to me grieve over Dalton for the longest time, and would kill Dalton if he ever came near me, let alone what he did with me.
"Well tell me about this boyfriend of yours, is he smart, sexy, rich?" She questioned while handing me a cup of coffee and sitting down.
"Well my boyfriend, Parker, got a full ride to Princeton, so that answers the first question," I was soon interrupted by Cole.
"Mornin' babe," he walked up to kiss Jessica, "and mornin' Sutton, you and Dalton sounded like you had a great time last night."
"Can you not remind me please, I need to get home before Dalton gets up, can you bring me, please?" I asked Jessica, she agreed but we didn't get to walk out the door before Dalton came out.
"Leaving so soon?" He questioned from the top of the stairs.
"I have a report to finish, I have to get home." I lied.
"We both know that's not true," he answered walking down the stairs as I was shaking, "I know when you're lying." Cole slowly moved in between me and Dalton as Dalton moved forward.
"Dalton," Cole said calmly, "don't step any closer to Sutton." Dalton walked right up to Cole a shoved him to the floor.
"Dalton Louis Rapattoni!" I shouted, "Don't you fucking dare do that to Cole, this is all your damn fault, if you weren't so mother fucking violent and obsessed and jealous he wouldn't have to do anything!" Dalton looked down at Cole at the floor and stood there for a second before storming out the front door.
As soon as the front door slammed, I went towards Cole, who was holding his head.
"Are you okay?" I asked as Jessica examined his head.
"I'm fine, I just need some ice but I'm gonna kill the fucker." Cole answered bitterly, "He has no right treating you that way and you have no right to be treated that way."
"Well I'm not going to see him again, guaranteed, so it doesn't fucking matter." I answered.
"He's not going to take to it well but it's all his fucking fault." Jessica came back with the ice pack in hand, "Let me call Dana to take you home, I want to stay here with Cole." I nodded as she dialed Dana's number.
A Month Later
"Thanks Kayla." I told her while taking the package.
"How did Parker let this happen?" She questioned while I opened it up, "Wait, aren't you going to read the directions?"
"It's not that hard to pee on a stick and trust me, Parker would never let that happen." I answered while closing the door.
"What the fuck do you mean, why the hell are you taking this then?" She yelled for the door.
"Because, I'll tell you when I'm done." I answered.
After I was finished I opened the door, test in hand.
"So tell me what happened." Kayla demanded, "There's a reason why you're doing this."
"I cheated on Parker." I told her flat out, "I cheated on him at the house warming party."
"With who? The the blond or brunette?"
"Fucking blondie, I can't believe we did it and out of all the times we did, this time we had to without a condom, while I'm with another guy." I groaned, I can't believe this shit.
We watched the test and waited. Slowly two lines appeared.
"Fucking hell, I'm having his child." I broke down.
I don't know what I just did, don't ask, please.
