Here is my first chapter to this story. I hope you like it.
Katelynn's POV
I walked into the school. Most people smiled so I smiled back. I didn't really like anybody here. I was always quiet but out going. Matthew was always loud and out going. I grabbed my books and went to my first class. I sat down in my usual seat and pulled out my homework. Mrs. Wells the English teacher walked around the room collecting all the papers.
"Good morning Katie," I heard my friend Tay say.
"Morning Tay," I smiled. The bell rang signalling class has started. Mrs. Wells pulled out a plan for today. I jotted down the notes she wrote on the board and started tapping my pen. I had biology next with my brother. I will get to watch him get in trouble all class. The bell rang and I grabbed my stuff. I walked down the hallway where I saw a group of jocks. Jake and his little group. I rolled my eyes and kept walking. I tried to walk past them but the stood in my flipping path. Really.
"Hey so you want to go out tonight? " Jake asked.
"I have already told you I am not interested," I said through gritted teeth. He still didn't move. "Just move."
"Not until you agree to go out with me." I sighed.
"Fine tomorrow at 7 at the dairy bar." Little did he know I wasn't going. He grinned and stepped out of my way. I walked into my class and saw Matt sitting in a group of his friends. The teacher walked in with a new student behind her.
"Good day class, this is Luke Jaymes. He will be apart of this class until the spring. Luke you may have a seat next to Katelynn." She pointed over towards me. He wasn't bad looking if anything he was hot. (Picture above: Zac Efron) One thing I learned about hot boys are they are either dicks or gay so a sweet hot boy doesn't exist.
"Hey," he said.
"Hi," I looked over at him. It was now silent. We shared schedules and it turns out we have a couple more classes together.
Matthew's POV
I was watching as the new kid sat next to my sister. They talked for a bit and it looked like they exchanged numbers. Too bad if she does go to Magcon with me they won't see each other.
"Hey Matt it looks like the new kid is taking a liking to you sister," one of my friends teased.
"Hey it's her life if she wants him leg her go. She hasn't had a real relationship in a while."
Katelynn's POV
It turns out Luke is better then I thought, but he isn't my type. School ended quickly today and I got on the bus as usual. I put my headphones in and turned up my music. I looked up and saw Matt sitting down next to me.
"Hey," I said taking one headphone out.
"Hey what do you think of the new kid in bio?"
"Eh he's not really my type if that's what you're asking." I sighed.
"Listen I have to talk to you tonight about something," he told me.
"Um, okay?" I was confused what did I do wrong. The bus came to our stop Matt stood up and scooted out and I followed. We walked in and there was a note on the table.
-Kids
I have to work late tonight. Here is some money so order a pizza. No arguing and Matthew make sure you tell your sister tonight.
-Mom
What is so important that I don't already know? I grabbed my bag and ran up the stairs. I pulled out my homework and Matt walked in.
"Um, Katelynn I got asked to go to Magcon for a while. Would you like to tag along? Mom made me ask..."
