COVID-19 was nearly taking over the world. All you hear now is death, shortage, Carona over and over again. It's like the news was telling more of the bad than the good. You eventually heard that a handful of people were cured or recovered but that was it.
With the constant news about the outbreak, your anxiety was getting out of hand. You didn't even want to turn on the TV anymore or even look at your phone.
You sat in your room with tears threatening to fill your eyes as the TV announcing the death toll was rising.
You were so worked up that you didn't hear your boyfriend Deku come into the room. He noticed how distraught you looked while sitting on the floor and he instantly came to your aid.
"(y/n), turn this off. You're gonna give yourself another panic attack." He says while turning off the TV.
"Izuku, I'm scared." You say.
The curly haired boy gives a sigh. "Come're, sweetheart." He scoops you up in his arms and lays you both down in your giant bed.
"It's like this outbreak is getting worse, and everyone's acting crazy. I can't even go out to eat anymore."
"Shh, don't cry. Don't cry my love." Deku soothes you as you finally break down. He holds you closer as he lays your head on his large chest.
"I know it's scary." He says.
"What if I lose you from this? I can't deal with that." You admit.
Deku lifts up your chin. "You're not gonna lose me. I only go outside when it's necessary, and I'm making sure you and I both stay healthy, so don't worry yourself about me."
After a few minutes, you finally calmed down. "It's alright. No more tears, no more tears baby-love." He said while running his scarred fingers through your hair.
"We're gonna be okay. *Daiji ni Shitai, *Daiji ni Shitai." He mutters in your hair.
"I love you Izuku." You say.
"I love you too, why don't you go take a nice shower and I'll give you a nice back rub to help you relax." Deku offered.
"Alright." You get up from the bed and grab the stuff you need for your shower.
"I'll be waiting right here, love." Deku says while grabbing the oils from the bedside table.
