Chapter 35: Tomorrow's Another Day

''Brooke...Wait... I remember the rat spoke about a mission but I was so tired and sleepy last night I couldn't even process his words...'' Charlotte told Brooke.

''MISSION???'' Misty and Brooke asked in unison. Charlotte just nodded and tried to think deeper, recalling Sean's words but she couldn't.

''Aisht! That's the only thing I can remember!''

''I'm going to confront Dyl about this.'' Misty said, her face looks like she was betrayed.

''No! I'm going to wait until tonight and if that Sebastian doesn't show up and tell me about it I'm gonna... I'm gonna...''

Misty and Charlotte cocked an eyebrow. ''Gonna what, unnie?''

''Shit! How am I suppose to break up with someone who isn't officially my boyfriend? Damn!'' Brooke hit her forehead with the palm of her hand.

''Really? You're not----??? Oh my God. I thought you two were already on!'' Charlotte gasped in surprise.

''I... I told him I like him and he said I should wait for him. I know that sounds unfair but he always makes me feel I'm important. What should I do?'' Brooke asked, confused with their current state.

''You really like him, right?'' Misty asked.

''That's even an understatement... I'm falling inlove with him...'' Brooke slumped on her seat.

''Oh boy... Why can't they trust us?'' Misty asked. ''Charlz, how come Sean shared about it to you? That's not fair!''

Charlotte looked at Misty and then at Brooke before clearing her throat and standing up. '' I don't know. Well probably because he's a blabbermouth! He couldn't shut his mouth for too long. Anyways... I... I... I gotta go! I have a mag interview tomorrow. Yah don't stay up too late! You don't want to form dark circles under your eyes. The fashion show is on the day after tomorrow so better be prepared.'' Charlotte reminded them.

''Let's grab a dinner first, charlz.'' Misty asked her.

''I gotta go. You eat with Brooke, ok?'' Charlotte said before turning around and picking her phone from her pocket.

Lydia, Hailey, Soren and Samantha could just hang their mouths wide open as James feasted on the food like there's no tomorrow.

''Yah... What's wrong with him?'' Lydia asked as she continue to watch James.

''Aigoo... Why is he in a hurry?'' Soren asked, his eyes never left James.

''Sam, what did you do to my brother?'' Hailey asked Samantha as her gaze still fixed on her brother.

Samantha could just gulp in embarassment and she felt sweat was forming on her forehead.

''I...I..I... did nothing!'' Samantha defended. ''Really...''

They immediately looked away to different directions when James straightened up and finally spoke.

''Hailey...'' James called her.

''Yes??''

''You sleep early later, understand? You're losing your chubby cheeks already. And don't go tailing around Sam. She's tired.'' James said.

''B-b-b-ut... But.. Sam here told me we'll sleep together and that I should tell her more stories about our family.'' Hailey reasoned out while pointing at Samantha.

''She said that? Nna-no! She's going to sleep with me in my room!'' James argued with her like a child.

Samantha automatically choked on her food when Soren and Lydia threw her meaningful glares. She hit her chest and Hailey immediately handed her a glass of water.
