what the fuck ___ It was a Sunday morning when it was first announced.
Taehyung had still been in his slippers and sweatpants, carrying a coffee mug in one hand and a cheap bowl of ramen in the other.
The news was displayed upon the screen, causing the young man to grumble. He wanted to watch at least one episode of Spongebob before he had his earliest college class.
Taking a seat upon the small couch within his apartment, Tae settled.
The news was displayed with big red signs, many discussions being displayed at that moment. It was most likely updates on the recent outbreak of COVID-19. But Taehyung didn't care.
Spongebob was his only priority.
He clicked to his program and began to snack upon his breakfast. Enjoying the morning, his mood was great.
All until a significant annoyance came in.
"Shut up." Jungkook grumbled, stumbling out of his room and into the kitchen. His hair was a mess and his eyes drooped with exhaustion.
Meet Taehyung's roommate; Jeon Jungkook.
Aka, the most annoying person to walk this planet.
"I didn't say anything." Taehyung hissed, throwing a glare at his roommate. If it weren't for the other's rich parents and the good pay they were given each month for rent, Tae wouldn't even be living with the younger.
"Whatever." Jungkook yawned, fetching himself the box of oreos Taehyung had hidden at the back of the pantry.
Before the older could comment, a ding! sounded from his phone.
Glancing down, he realized it was an official alert from the entire country. Claiming that...
"The entire country is in quarantine?" Taehyung gasped, eyes going wide. He groaned. Great.
Perhaps he would book a flight home, as both him and Jungkook were international students studying in Canada. And, no, they don't say 'eh' after every sentence.
Googling the soonest flights back to Korea, Tae wanted to die at the announcement presented across his screen.
Written in thick red letters, the bad news was clear: ALL FLIGHTS ARE CANCELLED.
Well shit.
Taehyung's mind began to whir. He glanced up and watched as his stupid roommate ate his entire box of oreos, the younger slightly choking as he stuffed four oreos in his mouth at once.
Idiot.
But
. . .
oh shit.
That was the idiot Tae was now stuck with for the rest of this quarantine- however long that may be.
