Jungkook's POV
Chantel and I are sitting front of the police impound lot. Chantel is holding my arm and I am torn between crying and murder. There are four officers in the building, but only one is in front of me. The other three are hiding in the back office like cowards and this kid looks like he drew the short straw.
"What the FUCK did he hit!!!" My car is trash. What the fuck was the reason they even bothered to tow it in?
If I get my hands on either of those bastards, I am going to kill them. "Sir, please sign here." The officer's hand is shaking when he hands me the key to my car, or what is left of it.
Taking the pen and sign my name. I know he could feel the hatred in my stare as I stare in his eyes while I sign it. He is literally shaking while he stands there.
"I cannot believe that jackass wrecked my fucking car. $106,000 car now valued at fucking nothing." I grumble as I watch it get towed by my insurance company.
The insurance agent walked over to me and Chantel, looking like he wanted to be anywhere else but here. Not that I blame him, I don't want to be here either. "I am sorry to inform you that the car is a total loss. Based on the information that I have already received from your attorney. I see no reason to deny your claim."
"Thank you, sir." Chantel answered for me because I can't. Chantel walks with me back into the rental car we rented. I appreciate that she is not doing a bunch of talking or asking me how I'm feeling. I know that it was only a car, but it was my car. My first love, a chunk of my heart.
"Not that it helps, but Reginald is already in jail." Chantel speaks quietly and goes back to driving.
Chantel's POV
I feel so bad for Jungkook right now. He is in the passenger seat with a look that says he is planning a homicide. I don't know how to make him feel better. I assume he loved that car.
"I am going to take a shower." He walks into the bedroom and I head into the kitchen. I know he feels like shit. I am going to make him some cookies. One thing I have learned is that no matter what, the man can eat.
While creaming the butter and sugar there is a knock on the door. Most people that come to see us, have a code to get in from the elevator. While walking to the door I try to figure out who it could be.
"Who is it?" I look the through to peephole and I see a badge. There is no way they can be arresting him for anything since he just left the impound lot.
"Police open up." No way am I opening the door to an officer that will not properly identify himself.
"No, I have had enough for today and if you can't properly identify yourself go way." He knocks again and I turn back towards the kitchen. Before I made to the kitchen he began to bang on the door. I can see the door rattling; on its hinges. This door is temporary and flimsy, it wasn't made for this. We are having a better quality door put on later today.
