(The letter might have a bit of mispellings due to the hand writing)
On October 14th, The Chronicle recieved a letter from The Zodiac.
And it said:
"This is the Zodiac speaking.
I am the muderer of the
Taxi driver over by
Washington st + Maple st Last
night, To prove this here is
a blood stained of his
shirt. I am the same man
who did the people in the
North Bay area.
The S.F. could have caught
me last night if they had
searched the park properly
instead of holding road races
with their motercycles seeing who
could make the most noise. The
cab drivers should have just
parked there cars and sat there
quitely waiting for me to come
out of cover."
that's were he stopped about the Stine murder and he said the most chilling thing about school kids:
"School children make nice targ-
ets, I think I shal wipe out
some morning."
A: that's all I could get out of that note I cant read the rest
then as he always did he signed the letter with the crossed-circle.
