Present day
After the plane landed the group was whisked away by the royal security guard. They had stricter rules than Big Hit, they didn't allow any photos to be taken of the prince.

Jimin was flanked on each side by Jin, Namjoon and his two body guards from the plane. His security and the future of the country rested on his shoulders now. He was no longer Park Jimin Idol, singer and dancer from BTS, but he was, Prince Park Jimin, heir apparent to the throne. His world literally changed in the blink of an eye. He was now required to take over the duties his brother had. He didn't know all of them, as he trained as an idol while his brother took lessons on how to be a world leader. He had so much to catch up on. He could no longer be the person he wanted to be, this included being able to have the kind of relationship he wanted. His wants and desires were now limited.

Little did the other members know of this rule. Jimin didn't either until he was given a book of "protocol rules" he now had to follow. Needless to say he was heartbroken again. First from Jungkook's rejection, second the death of his beloved brother and finally being told he couldn't have a relationship of his choosing, he had to get married to a woman who could bear his children. The thought sickened Jimin. He never liked girls, even from a young age he knew he was gay and had informed his family, they of course were supportive, but now it was a different story, he was required to carry on the royal bloodline.

The royal guard had already taken extra steps to ensure the prince's safety once he returned to the shared apartment with his band members. He asked if he could pack his own belongings and say goodbye to his friends before being whisked away. His family agreed, the guards reluctantly just stood outside while he packed. It took nearly two hours of going through his memories to finish. He took a shower for the last time in this dorm and put on his royal attire that consisted of fine silks, jewels and sashes. No longer the dancer/singer from BTS, he looked in the mirror, makeup free and saw a version of his brother, but it was him, Prince Jimin, who was looking back.

He knocked on the door to signal he was ready. He had barely any time to speak with the other members, his devastation and anxiety was at an all time high, so much has happened in the last couple of days it had made his head spin, continually. Now was the day he always dreaded, saying good bye to his best friends, his family, the ones who he shared so many memories and years with, the one he fell in love with, maybe this was all meant to be and he was never supposed to love the maknae, it must have been a mistake.

Jimin came from his old room with his travel bag, the guards took all of the bags and boxes and proceeded to take them to the moving van.

Jimin tried his hardest to put up a brave front. His life literally changed just three days prior. He was on top of the world, winning daesangs with his band and now he was heir apparent to the throne because his brother was gone. The life he wanted to lead was replaced with one he never imagined.

"I'm sorry I couldn't talk to any of you really since the other night," his tears were silently falling, "I never thought this day would come, but you will be just fine and achieve so much, just like we planned. I'm going to miss you all so much. Seven years living in the same space is going to be hard to get over." He gave each member a hug, holding them close. He got to the maknae, who was holding all his emotions in, "Kookie, take care of them and yourself ok? I love you." Jimin pulled away, not allowing himself to get over emotional.

He choked our the rest, "Look I'm sorry I lied to you all these past years," the tears are streaming down his soft cheeks, "I just never thought I would have to confess, ya know?" He tried to smile. "Why do you have to leave and do that?" The tall thin chestnut haired boy, his best friend, his alien, asked pointedly. He sighs heavily, "it's my duty as Prince of Busan. I have to take my brother's place." "That really sucks!" The chestnut haired murmured. The prince only nodded his head. "The spotlight is yours now," The Prince states to the one standing in the back, removed from the others. The prince lifted his head, tears still falling from his beautiful eyes. "Goodbye."

The members watched as their best friend, band member and brother walked out of their lives. They waved to the limo speeding away. They held onto each other, still devastated with current events. The members heard a huge crash watching the maknae throwing everything he could find, "Why the fuck did he have to fucking go? He could have fucking stayed! This is bullshit!" The chestnut haired boy ran over to him, "Why Tae? Why the fuck couldn't it just stay like it was?!" Tae held the other in his arms, "do you really care now?" The other boy sat on the floor with his head in his hands sobbing, "I always did," he whispered.

Jin sank next to the youngest, "Kook, come here talk to me," the boy was sitting on the floor sobbing at the loss of Jimin. "He-he's gone, Hyung. I-I never got t-to tell him," he looked up at his eldest Hyung, "I loved him, always. I just didn't know how to tell him and now he's gone. What am I going to do?" With a combination of grief and anger, Tae answered him, "well maybe your dumbass should have told him a long time ago instead of stringing him along. He was always so focused on you and your wants and needs he never looked at anyone else! God , you're so fucking selfish Jungkook! He never deserved to be treated like shit. You ALWAYS made him feel less than. He should have hated you but he didn't. You never deserved him asshole!" He pushed himself away from Jungkook, ran to his room and slammed the door. This left a devastated Jungkook crying more in Jin Hyung's arms.

"Hyung please help me," the maknae whispered to Jungkook. "I love him, I truly do, I always have." Jin pets his raven hair, "I know Kook, I know. We'll figure this out ok? Come on it's been an extra long day, you need to rest." He gently took his youngest dongsaeng to his room to get him to bed to rest. He needed to talk to Namjoon to figure out what's going to happen now.
