Half an hour or so had passed since the incident with Ji-Hyo and her brother. After treating her brother's wounds we had found out more information about them, than before. As it turns out the queen wanted them dead because of their parents. They had visited a fortuneteller which is strictly punishable by death. Consulting with any form of magic is a capital offense since it contradicts the Queen's words of magic being eradicated for over a century. They also found the man that had tried to assault the little girl and it was not pretty. After letting Jonghyun and his little sister go, Eye-patch decided to resume the meeting. This time all members were present.
"Um, may I ask why are we here?" Someone speaks up. His voice sounds just like the first man I heard with Yeosang when I mounted the boat. He has light purple hair with a clean undercut. His sharp features from his jawline to his nose make him look extremely attractive. He also seems to be one of the shortest guys here, just slightly taller than me. Since he got here he's had his eyes on me and I don't know how to feel about that. I mean I am pretty (Obviously) but idk man. Currently, I'm sitting on a bench between Yeosang and Seonghwa. As much as I try to shrink and exterminate my presence I still feel hateful and curious glares glued onto me.
"We are here to discuss some important information." The captain responds.
"Then why is she here?" A fairly tall man speaks up. He has stark black hair just like Seonghwa with matching black eyes. His features are a bit softer and round unlike Seonghwa's though. He looks well sculpted even through his clothes, a very athletic look. He stares blankly with a bored look on his face as he points at me. I make eye contact with him but I guess he decided I wasn't worth his attention because he decides to look elsewhere.
"She is here because she is one of the topics we will be deciding on and I think that if we are to talk about her, she should be present."
"But we've discussed her placement before without her in the room. I don't see the need to have her here." The red-head comments giving me dirty looks. I roll my eyes exasperated. I swear if he has a bone to pick with me why not just tell me what the problem is?
"To be honest I believe she is necessary on this ship. You guys might believe I'm crazy letting in a woman who probably works with the Royal Navy into our ranks--"
"Wait she's a Royal soldier?" The same black-haired male from earlier asks earning newfound interest in me.
"Yes, she is. Now, would you stop interrupting?" Eye-patch snaps having lost his patience, "As I was saying, you guys might think I'm crazy but I think we should allow her to remain with us."
"And why would we do that?" San asks.
"Well, we need a new surgeon and she's proven that she could be of use in that area." Seonghwa nods along with Eye-patch's statement.
"Hongjoong's right. I saw the way she handle the situation earlier. She knows far more about that than I do and we need a surgeon since our last one..." He trails off not wanting to complete his sentence.
"Aside from that, We need a balance on this ship. Sure it could've just been a coincidence that she happened to board the Aurora but I believe things happen for a reason," Yeosang adds, "What were the chances that the same person we bumped into the day we visited Ten, shows up as a stowaway on our ship?" Yeosang's statement puts everyone onto deep thought as they try to think of a reasonable answer to that. "Honestly, I'm very grateful I stepped up for her when I did. Her company over these weeks was nice. I think she's the change of pace we need."
"I second that," Seonghwa says slinging an arm around my shoulders and I smile at him, looking down at my hands.
"But what if she is working behind the scenes for something else? For all we know she could be lying to us." The brunette speaks up. He had been silent avoiding any eye-contact with me.
