Chapter 19: Too late

"I need to talk to you, Y/N."
You saw Chaewon with her sad expression, but the sincerity in her eyes shows. She really wants to talk to you, but for what?
"For what?" You answered her with a serious tone. You still haven't move on about what happened between her and Jungkook.
"For you and Jungkook. I want you guys--"
"SHUT UP!" You screamed at her causing her to flinched. Jimin and Taehyung heard it that's why they go downstairs to see what's happening.
"You ruined our relationship Chaewon!" Your tears fell down because of anger.
"Jungkook cheated on me because of you!"
"He's not cheating on you Y/N. I'll tell you the truth can you p-please listen?" Chaewon's voice cracked and a tear fell down to her cheek. She's crying. Why is she crying?
"The truth? The truth that you're a hoe? I knew that already you bitch." You rolled your eyes and Taehyung smirked.
'That's my girl.' He said in his mind.
"N-No Y/N please listen, listen to me." She tried to hold your hand but you pushed her hand away.
"Don't you dare touch me." You said and she bowed her head down.
"Y/N, c-chill okay? Listen to her first." You heard Jimin's voice, he holds you and open the door wide for Chaewon to come in.
"Jimin what are you doing?"
"She just said that Jungkook is not cheating on you. Maybe we should listen to her." Jimin softly said to you and you sighed.
"Fine." You sat down on the sofa and Taehyung sat beside you.
"Calm down, babe." Taehyung whispered to your ear with a deep tone.
"O-Okay." 'The heck? Did he just called me babe?' You said in your mind.
"Come in." Jimin said to Chaewon and he closed the door.
Jimin and Chaewon sat at the sofa and Taehyung's intense stare made her uncomfortable. But Chaewon tried to get rid of it.
"Talk." You said and Chaewon gulped.
"I-I'm sorry." She stuttered and Taehyung smirked. He just wants to listen but really, he's lowkey angry with Chaewon because of what happened.
"Y/N, I just want to say that.. it's all my fault." She smiled sadly and wiped her tears.
"Good thing, you know it." You said.
"Jungkook did nothing wrong. He's my victim." Chaewon said and you let her continue.
"That night, I kissed him and you saw it right?"
You nodded and Taehyung raised one of his eyebrows.
"I confessed my feelings for him that night, but he rejected me because yeah, he has a girlfriend." You stand up and Taehyung tried to chill you up but you stopped him.
"So you like MY boyfriend? Really Chaewon?" You just shakes your head in disbelief.
"You're my friend, right? How can you--" You stopped yourself but you really want to slap her right now.
"Sssssshhhhhhh, relax Y/N." Taehyung said and you sat down again beside him.
She gulped, "I felt hurt that I wanted to kiss him to see if he really doesn't like me."
Jimin looked at her while saying to his mind, 'What kind of friend are you?'
You're just stopping yourself, breathing heavily because of anger. Why is she doing that to you? Chaewon is your friend at the first place.
"I saw you at the corner of my eyes then Jungkook pushes me after you ran but you didn't saw how he pushes me." You remembered that moment when you saw her and Jungkook kissing.
"He did the right thing." Jimin said and you nodded.
"So all in all, you tried to steal Y/N's boyfriend?" Taehyung asked her and Chaewon didn't even open her mouth to answer his question.
Taehyung just smirked, and then he stand up. "She's your friend right? How can you do that do that to her? You snake!" He raised his voice at Chaewon and now, you're the one who's calming him down.
"Calm down, Taehyung." You hold his hand.
"I-I'm sorry, Y/N. I hope you can forgive me someday." She smiled and you rolled your eyes.
"A-Ahm, before I leave, Jungkook wants to give you this." Chaewon hands you an envelope and you take it.
"I-I have to go now."
Jimin opened the door for her and you followed Chaewon.
"Chaewon." You called her and she looked at you.
"I'm glad that Jungkook rejected you." And then you shut the door close.
"What's that?" Jimin asked and you open the envelope.
"It's a letter."

"JUNGKOOK!"
You shouted his name, so desperate to find him in the train station. Where is he? Where is your boyfriend?
"Jungkook, where are you?" You keep running, hoping that you will see him.
And then you stopped running, you saw Jungkook. You smiled and called his name, "Jungkook!" But the smile dropped when he started to walk to enter the train.
"Jungkook!" You ran but Jungkook already entered the train. You cried, he heard you. You knew that, but he still continued to go inside the train.
And yes, Jungkook heard you. His tears dropped, he's doing this for you.
"I-I'm sorry baby."
"I'm sorry because I have to let you go." Jungkook wiped his tears, his heart were already broken.
It's too late now, you just stared on the train going away and your tears made it blurry. You just sat on the bench, still crying. You're too late, you didn't stop him.
"J-Jungkook, I love you."
You choked and catched some air, you can't take this. You can't handle the pain. You just want to hug Jungkook tightly, talked to him and say that you love him so much. But it's too late.
"I'm not ready to let you go."
And suddenly, you felt an arm touched your shoulders. It's him, Taehyung.
"T-Taehyung I'm late." Taehyung hugged you and you put your head on his chest.
"I'm too late."
