Third person POV

Patience is an innocent child. She has always giving everything she ever wanted although she never asked for much. She's a humble being. Patience's father on the other hand is the complete opposite. He is the biggest drug lord in America and keeps his dark secret from his daughter not wanting to corrupt her innocence.

His wife, Constance, thinks that they should start telling Patience some things to keep her from finding out on her own and her getting upset. Despite Gabriel's love for his wife he wants to keep his work a secret for as long as possible.

"Hunny she needs to know" Constance says putting breakfast on everyone's plate. They were sitting at the table waiting for their bundle of joy to come down.

"Who needs to know what?" Patience asks coming into the dining room dressed for the day. She had on a white spaghetti strap crop top and a blue and white tie dyed skirt. Along with her white high top converse and a heart shaped gold necklace. Her hair was down in its natural beautiful platinum blonde waves.

"Just that we are going to the mall and I thought you'd want to come" Gabriel says to his smiling daughter as she sits to his left as he was at the head of the table and Constance was at his right.

"Of course I do" she said happily eating her breakfast along with her parents.

"Alright we leave in five minutes make sure your in the car" Gabriel says getting up and heading to his study to grab his things. Constance following soon after to gather her purse and phone.

Patience, having all her stuff, grabs the car keys and heads out to her fathers black Jeep Wrangler. Unlocking the car she starts it then gets into the back seat putting her seat belt on and pulling out her phone to play some games while waiting on her parents.

"Alright hunny are you ready to go?" Gabriel asks as him and Constance get into the car putting their seat belts on.

"Yep" Patience says as she looks up from her phone smiling only to look back down.

They sat in a comfortable silence as they drove to the mall. It was only ten minutes from their house.

Once at the mall Gabriel turns around to face Patience.

"Alright here's my credit card and I want you to meet us at the food court in an hour. If anything happens make sure to call me" Gabriel tells his daughter and she smiles at him nodding. Getting out of the car they all rush into the mall, Patience going the opposite direction of her parents.

Making her way to Starbucks Patience bumps into someone making her fall quickly on her butt.

"Ow" she mumbles rubbing her thigh until she looks up to see an angry looking girl with coffee all over her very revealing clothes.

"Oh my I'm so sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going. I'm so sorry" Patience says standing up. Even though Patience was watching where she was going and the girl actually ran into her as she was typing away at her phone but Patience thought that it was truly her fault.

"Watch where your going next time bitch. I should beat your ass" the girl said looking at Patience in disgust. Patience widened her eyes at the use of her language being taught from a young age that a young lady should never let naughty words out of her mouth.

"Um" Patience says not knowing what to say.

"Just shut the fuck up and get the hell out of my way" the girl says rolling her eyes and pushing Patience making her lose her balance and fall back on the ground. She's sighs as the girl walks away. Standing back up she starts to again make her way to Starbucks trying to keep her thoughts away from the girl.

After getting her Starbucks she makes her way to the food court even though it's only been 30 minutes. She gets some pretzels with cheese and cheese fries sitting at a table. She also got a sweet tea one of her favorite drinks.

"I thought we said meet us here in an hour?" Patience jumped at the sudden sound of her father behind her. She smiles wiping her face with a napkin.

"I know but I got what I wanted so I thought why not just come early" Patience says to her parents as they both sit in front of her. She slides the card back over to her father as her mother gets up to order them food.

"You didn't even get anything" Gabriel says looking around the table for any bags but he knew Patience wouldn't get anything but Starbucks and food.

"Yes I did. I got Starbucks and food" Patience says looking down at her cheese fries as her father smiles at her.

"Whatever you say darling" he playfully rolls his eyes. After they all eat they head back to their house to which Patience thinks about something she's wanted to say for a long time.

"Dad?" Patience says as she knocks on her fathers study door. Hearing a come in she walks in and sits in one of the chairs in front of his desk.

"What is it pay?" He questions while typing on his computer. Pay was a little nickname that she had gotten when she was younger thinking her real name was too long.

"I wanted to talk about something" Patience says looking down at her hands.

"What about?" Her father asks looking away from his computer putting his full attention on his daughter.

"I want to go to public school. I know you don't like it but I'm almost 18 and I still have no friends. Sooner or later I'm going to need to socialize to get a job and go to college" she says still not meeting her fathers gaze scared of what he might say.

"You can finish your last year at a public school as long as you promise to be mindful of things and make sure you ask before you do certain things" he says knowing she's right.

"Wait I can really go?" She says meeting his eyes with a giant smile.

"Of course you can just remember what I said" he says as he's engulfed in a hug by Patience.

"Thank you thank you thank you!" She yells running out of his room only to come straight back.

"When will I start?" She questions knowing she would've started homeschool tomorrow.

"Tomorrow. I'll get all your pay to the school as soon as possible" Gabriel says smiling. As long as his daughters happy so is he.
