Patience's POV

"Patience wake up," I hear my mother say as I slowly open my eyes.

"What?" I mumble pulling the covers up.

"It's your first day of school, sweetheart. You don't want to be late," my mother says and I instantly jump up at her words.

"First day?!" I yell as tears come to my eyes.

"Yes. What's wrong? Baby you know you don't have to go if you really don't want to," mother says putting her hand on my cheek and whipping a tear that had fallen.

"What about Chris? And Liam? The boys?" I say more tears coming out of my eyes.

"What are you going on about? You must of been dreaming sweetheart," my mother says looking at me with sympathy as the flow of tears don't stop.

"It felt so real," I whisper as I bring my knees up to my chest.

"Well it's 5 and your dad will take you around 7, so get up and get ready," mother says walking out of my room and closing the door.

Getting up I make my way to my closet and put on my white pleated skirt with a pastel pink sweater. Putting on my knee high white socks I question if maybe mom has gone crazy.

There's no way I dreamt all of that up. I Slip on my pink vans and brush through my hair. Grabbing my phone and pink backpack I make my way down stairs and into the kitchen. Grabbing a chocolate muffin and a water bottle I find myself heading out the door.

I don't say anything to my parents as they yell at me asking me if I was sure I wanted to walk. As I eat, I put my headphones in and listen to Melanie Martinez's album K-12.

Walking into the school, I throw the rest of my muffin away and put my unopened water bottle in my backpack. I walk to the front office and to the lady at a desk. As I walk up to her I notice she's not the same lady in my dream. This lady, Ms. Heus as her name tag reads, seems rude and skimpy. She's in her early 20s and wears very little clothes that cover herself.

"H-Hi, I'm P-Patience," I stutter as the lady glares at me until I say my name. Once my name leaves my mouth the lady starts to look at me with fear in her eyes.

"Uh yes here is your stuff," she says as quickly as possible and looks at her desk.

"Thank you," I smile even though she isn't looking. I look around and notice that the lady seems to be ignoring me now.

I walk out of the office and look at my schedule. Another thing different from my dream. Liam isn't here to show me around. I notice that my schedule though is the complete same from my dream.

"That's weird," I mumble as someone walks right into me making me fall on the ground and my stuff to go all over the place.

"Watch where your going bitch," a rough voice says to me. I look up to see it's Chris from my dream. Except he has the girl that I walked into at the mall yesterday on his arm.

"Oh it's you," the girl says smirking down at me. I instantly look down avoiding both of their gazes.

"Bitch I would think you would watch your step next time," she says stepping on my hand with the front of her heels.

"Ow!" I yell pulling my hand back as tears come to my eyes. I cradle my hand to my chest while picking up my papers from the ground.

"I'm Tiffany and this is Maddox. Next time you come near either of us, you won't get to see daylight again," Tiffany says bending down to get in my face. Another thing that's off. Maddox isn't Chris. He also doesn't act like Chris either.
