I pushed through the horde of demons in front of me, creating holes in bodies with my shotgun as I continued to civilians in danger.

"To your left!" Rias yelled out.

I flung my left hand back into the imps jaw and grabbed his neck and shoved his head into a nearby wall, splattering shards of skull and teeth everywhere. I spun around and blasted a shell through another imps chest.

"HELP! PLEASE HELP ME!" I heard the woman scream out.

"Above Rias!" I shouted to her.

I felt her charge a large amount of power and send it out around us and I watched as the demons flew back and some exploded from the force.

"Go!" Rias yelled to me.

I ran into the shop and launched myself up the staircase to where I heard the woman's scream come from. I readied my shotgun and I saw the woman in the corner of the room and she was holding a young girl in her arms.

"A mother and her daughter fearful they're going to die. Not if I have my way."

I looked around the rest of the room and didn't see any imps. But there was a hell knight, and it didn't look happy.

"Oh shit."

*Rias POV*

I was blasting apart demons left right and centre, yet for every single demon I killed two more seemed to replace it.

"There's no end to them, it's like they're infinite."

I pulled a demon close to me and ripped it apart and threw as many bones as I could forward to impale other demons.

"I can't keep this up much longer, I'm running out of energy."

That's when I heard the shattering of glass and saw a body land in the middle of the street and the demons stopped moving towards me and turned to look at the body. I looked over the top of the horde and watched him get back up.

*Your POV*

I pushed myself up onto one knee and looked up to see my shotgun over to my left, I was about to reach for it when an imp picked it up and held my gun to its chest.

"You're lucky I have bigger problems right now." I said to it.

It simply chuckled in a low tone as I looked up to see the hell knight staring down at me from the window. I fully stood back up and readied myself for a tough fight.

"Well come on then, let's get this over with." I taunted it.

It dropped down into the street and roared out a low and deep battle cry. I readied myself for its attack and knew this would not be an easy fight. It launched itself at me and was about to bring its arms down on top of me when I rolled aside and punched its side after it landed but it did nothing, if only pissed it off.

"You've got to be kidding me."

I was kicked in the stomach and sent flying back onto my ass as the knight launched itself at me again, this time I was pinned underneath its large arms as it began to push downwards and crush my neck.

"No..I will...not...die like...this!"

I began to push upwards and as I took deeper breaths and moved my knee up and gave one strong push and the knight was moved off me. I quickly rolled over onto my knees but was knocked in the head and was thrown back against the wall of the shop. I slumped down yet I was only resting on one knee, I felt something drip down my nose and I wiped it off and I saw something I hadn't seen in a while.
