It took Gregor a little while to remember how to navigate the tunnels. But eventually he reached the entrance to the waterway, he was breathing hard enough he could see all around him in stunning detail. He was alone but something was flying below him. He called out below, "Hello, is anyone there!? It's Gregor the Overlander."

Below him he heard stunned voices talking among themselves. He then heard a familiar voice yell, "Jump down Overlander." Relief washed over him when he realized Luxa had actually sent people to the entrances to the Underworld.

Gregor fearlessly jumped down into the inky blackness and was quickly caught by a black and white stripped bat he instantly recognized. "Howard? Nike? Is it you?" Gregor cautiously asked. The bat gave a rare Huh-Huh-Huh laugh and the rider started laughing hysterically as he turned around. As Gregor realized it was actually his friends he had waited so long to see he almost fell off Nike.

"Who else would it be Overlander? You really think Luxa would let any guards be stationed at the entrances?" Howard asked, still laughing. "It is good to see you Gregor but it seems you have not grown much in intelligence. But I guess you were never renowned for that in the first place.

Gregor got over the initial shock and realized Howard had some good points, he needed to remember he had to be careful to survive down here. Regardless, Howard was a sight for his sore eyes. His pale skin, purple eyes, and silver hair was more normal for Gregor than what most people in the Overland looked like. He finally had gotten himself together enough to say, "I might not be smart but I'll beat you in a fight with my eyes closed." As soon as the words left his mouth Nike started doing a loop and Gregor was not ready. He fell off the bat and accelerated through empty space. He could see Nike and Howard laughing as they swooped down to catch him. "That wasn't very nice," Gregor pouted after the bat caught him. This led to another round of laughter from the pair.

"My apologies Gregor. I could not resist the opportunity," Howard replied to him. Gregor kept up his pouty persona but was smiling on the inside. After a short flight, the breathtaking stone city of Regalia came into view. Most of the touches were out, since it was night time, but he could still see the city had been almost completely rebuilt since he had left. Howard took him straight to the high hall. When he landed he dismounted and looked at Gregor and asked, "I assume you want to see Luxa?"

Gregor replied with an eager yes and Howard led him off into the castle. Years ago he could have navigated the castle himself with ease but it had been too long and he had forgotten. Howard stopped at an archway that didn't look like the entrance to the royal chamber. "Why have we stopped here?" Gregor asked, very very confused.

Howard retorted, "Have you been gone so long you forgot how this works? You need to bathe before you can do anything. Even though we are no longer at war, we don't want all of the Underland to know you're back."

Gregor decided it was easiest to just go with it, asking for his clothes to be saved in the museum he hopped into the warm bath of continuously moving water. When he finished, there were some dark blue underland clothes waiting for him. After he got dressed he rejoined Howard and set off again. Gregor was practically exploding with excitement, he could practically feel how close we was to her. Howard stopped again. "She's asleep in there. But I must warn you Overlander, you walk dangerous ground being with the queen. Some in Regalia might not like that," Howard glared at him the entire time he spoke, "And if you hurt her in any way, I will find you and kill you. Rager or not." And with that he left.

Gregor quietly walked through the drapes covering the arch way and there she was. She looked so beautiful when she was sleeping, he could have looked at her for hours, just soaking up her beauty. Being so close to a bed he realized how tired he was and decided to fall asleep with Luxa. He climbed into bed and wrapped his arms around her, she stirred and started asking who it was. Gregor replied simply with, "Don't worry Luxa, it's me." She instantly relaxed and they both fell into a dreamless sleep.
